i can tell you that that the model i bought from best e-cig has 2 holes but this might have changed. my RN4072 has one hole. the BE112's atomizer is also marginally smaller in length. it is a good atomizer and the three i have all work after mybe 1-2 months constant use though i dont use them anymore. the battery on the BE112 is marginally longer than the RN4072, so they both actually end up the same size. all the parts are interchangeable

I have the BE112 but there is one problem, at least with the later models. The polarity of the battery is reversed, meaning you cant use a normal penstyle charger, you need the Best e-cig one. Not a problem if it's going to be a starter kit you get but if you have existing kit it is not good new.

The stainless steel ones are really cool BTW.

Apo ... are you there? Have you tried two and four hole 4072s and a 901?

I can't say, I only have a two hole 4072 and a 901.

i'm back... i havn't tried a penstyle yet,(only 901's)
but i have a couple on order, then i came across the 2 and 4 hole atomizer...
...which makes me think.
too many holes makes the draw easier, but if the vapor is not enough it is actually worse. the 901 has 1 hole and i'm closing it partially very often to get more vapor.

how do the two hole 4072 and a 901 compare?

i havent tried a 4 hole rn4072 but i have got a 4 hole generic pen , not sure which model, it was some cheapo from ebay.

Saying that, the 4 hole pen performed quite well, the draw was lighter like the 901 and vapour production and flavour were first class.

the 2 hole RN4072 i got has a slightly harder draw but i actually prefer that to the 901 draw.
I have yet to try the 4 holed RN4072 but may order one next time around.

From my experience between the 4 hole pen and the 2 hole RN4072 there really isnt much in it except for an easier draw with 4 holes.

so to answer the question , a four hole atomizer is closer in draw to a 901

As dc2k08 stated, indeed, 2-hole and 4-hole atomizers are the same in terms of size and the parts are interchangeable with most generic pen style cigarettes.

The main difference between them is that the 4-hole atomizer gives an easier draw that can sometimes lead to the switch in the battery not activating easily due to a lack of pressure within the device (A tip: you can use something to block a hole to help), where with the 2-hole atomizer, the pressure in the device is higher therefore giving a more efficient draw whilst vaping gently.

Our pen model uses the 2-hole atomizer.

what about the reversed polarity MCArthur talked about?

got my BE-penstyle.
no reverse polarity,so everything is compatible with others.

i think it's a 2 hole,the draw is a bit harder than a 901.

That means they have changed their batteries back to the old standard, leaving myself (and others on this forum) with a bunch of obsolete kit. Well that's another supplier that I won't be ordering from again.:(:(

I bought a 5 battery pack from bestecig and haven't had to use them yet....still using my original ones. I bought them all within the past month. I don't know if they are the old or new ones but they work fine for me....so I can't complain.

I'm still trying to see how many holes the atomizers have but can't seem to see in there well enough yet. I don't think I have a bright enough light bulb in the house!

When I look in there, it almost looks like little nicks and the more I strain my eyes to see if they are actually holes, the blurrier it becomes. But I wear reading glasses and I still can't see in there, with them on or off! Are we just doomed to never know how many holes we have? hahaha
