I just wanted to share a story regarding Linda. I had asked her if she could do spearmint in a water base as I use it in my mojito. I use her lime but it is oil based and so was the spearmint I used from another vendor. I didn't expect to hear from her but she emailed me today and is sending me some spearmint samples.

Now that is customer service at its best. What a wonderful lady. She gets all my flavor business from this point on, and I sent her another email and thanked her.

Linda you rock.

I had something happen that I thought I would share so no one else does this. 8-o

Since I ordered so many flavors and only have a small room available the aroma was strong and giving me a headache. It seemed to be only the small bottles with the rubber dropper caps that were leaching strong so I put all those in a plastic bag and put them in a tin with a tight lid. Tonight I opened the tin and almost passed out! All the liquid leaked out and mixed together in the plastic bag and the smell was strong!! The flavors were citrus and cinnamon and my head is splitting just from a few minutes of smelling it. I took the tin outside until I can dispose of it.

Hi all, I need some help with Champagne. Can I use that alone or should it be mixed with some other flavors? I have read that it is very light in flavor. So I am wondering what is the purpose of it? Thanks in advance.

I am sure that you will get a few different opinions on this, but here is mine.

I have found that most of the "lighter" flavors are used mostly in making your own juice. Such as adding some fruit to your champagne (ie; strawberry, orange, etc.), or even getting a little more exotic, try adding some mint or even chocolate to your champagne.

As a side note here, keep in mind that "taste" is a relative term and can vary greatly from person to person. The champagne my be soft to you but be very strong to others. A good example of this is TV's Dulce de Leche. A lot of peps here love it, but I find that I can barely even taste its flavor.

I find that the EM gives most juices more of a "body" on top of the sweet.

When you get a chance try them side by side. I only use sweetener in flavors that are already full bodied.

YMMV

Thanks Hoosier - based on yours and Switched's recommendation I went ahead and order the EM as well.

Appreciate the advice and opinions!

After doing some calculations I decided to test a theory, I ordered 16 ounces (500ml appox) of 10% EM in PG aka (Cotton Candy), I also ordered 2.5ml of TA (tobacco Absolute). When they came in I heated up the TA in hot water and poured it into the 16 ounce of 10% EM. Shook the heck out of it and ran it under hot water. Blended perfectly and looks the same shade as my previous mesaured out TA liquids. Now I added 8 ounces (250ml appox) of this to 8 ounces of seedmans commecial tobbaco (Concentrate). It yeilded 500ml of tobbaco flavoring! This is enough to flavor 5 liters of ejuice @ 10% flavoring.

I have had people test both my original blend and this batch and they could not tell a difference, Excellent!.

Now to make a liter of menthol tobbaco flavoring I use 20ml of this flavor and 50ml of menthol concentrate. BTW I found that herbalaccents now has a 50.00 minimum order so I had to buy 3lbs of menthol crystals. I think I will try Lindas out in the future.

Hope this helps.
Dan

LOL Well you guys were sure right about Linda! I sent her an email to let her know about the 4ml dropper caps leaking and what happened when they were laying on their side in the tin.

Today she called me and she was amazing! Not only is she replacing all of them but she's changing the caps from now on to the regular ones and also including the dropper caps. So instead of your orders coming with the dropper caps attached they'll be separate.

To cover her costs she's going to have to raise her prices, but by a few cents...maybe 5 cents to cover her actual cost. She was concerned that others might also be having this problem and wanted to find an immediate solution.

Now isn't that good customer service?! You were right she's a very nice lady!

Ok, that's the last straw! How she treated you in this matter, when she didn't have to, made me just place my first order with her. And its a bunch of them!

Bl. Cherry
Bav. Cream
Fr. Van.
Van Bourbon
Malted Milk
Sweet Cream
CC
Graham Cracker
Cheesecake
Blueberry
Pear
Sweet Apple

requested Sweet almond, kahlua, black walnut.

I was going to try the caramel, but it contains corn syrup. 8-o

And the White Chocolate contains milk solids. 8-o Might explain the lingering effect it has. Might char too over time. Same with the caramel.

Strangely, I like Lorann caramel a lot, but generally only at normal vaping nic levels (~11 mg), and while I like Capellas Caramel less than Loranns, I like it more at 36 mg, just a drop or two to kick-start a cart of something else sweet, like Lorann Bav. Cream.

Soon I will have, for the price a dinner out, spiked desserts for 6 months. Life is good.

LOL Well we expect some good recipes from you now! With all those flavors you should be able to come up with something. :D

So far I haven't had any problem with her Caramel but that's good to know. I've been mixing different caramels trying to get one that doesn't taste like maple syrup. I want to try her Burnt Brown Sugar when it's available for testing.

I like adding a little of her Milk Chocolate and her Caramel with Capella's Milk Chocolate Toffee for a deeper flavor. I like what the Caramel does to chocolate even with the Lorann Mint Chocolate Chip.

I bought some Wilton Clear Butter Flavoring at Walmart. Has anyone used it? I thought about adding a few drops to my Milk Chocolate Toffee recipe.

At what percentage did you use the MJ? I mixed some and it didn't come out at all. I figured I mixed it way to strong.
thx 48lowes

I did it at 15% of MJ flavor in a no-nic 90% PG, 10% VG base. Gave it to a friend for his review. We actually thought it may be good for adding body to a cigar taste, but I have not tried it yet.

It took quite awhile to get the taste to come through an atty that was being used on my Cuban cigar experiment. Put it in a freshly cleaned atty & it still took more than 5 draws for the flavor to start coming through but then it took over the atty.

I find it an unusual flavoring to work with and it has gotten my interest as a "spice" right now.

Good luck with your mixing!

That's really unfortunate. Her stuff is really strong! Hope you didn't lose too much!

Oh, I'm all about recipes, my friend! Right now I'm working on seeing if I can layer flavors in the cart foam. A few drops of cheesecake, let sink, a few drops of raspberry, let sink, a few drops of cheesecake on top. You get cheesecake for a few hits, then lots of raspberry, and the rest is more mixed...like eating the dessert! :D

The capella milk choc toffee made me cough a lot, so I avoid it now. Shame, as it was seriously delicious. Lorann Mint Coc chip is quite good!! But I don't often do mints. I do a York peppermint patty with Capella Double Choc and Vermont Vapors 36 mg VG Cool Mint as the base. VERY nice!!

Careful with the butter flavor. It might be diacetyl, and thus should NOT NOT NOT be vaped...can lead to lung damage (popcorn packer's disease). Check the ingredients. If it is not diacetyl you are likely good to go, although Loranns Butter flavor, which is not diacetyl, made me cough a lot. So I avoid that one too. Coughing, for me, is my throat and lungs telling me something is a problem.

Layering is a good idea. I do it with caramel and chocolate but that's as far as I've gone. The ingredients on the Butter doesn't list diacetyl. It says just water, PG and artificial flavorings.

Do you want to trade your Capella Milk Choc Toffee for another flavor? If it's the small bottle it's not worth the postage but the larger one may be.

Oh yeah, I use Tasty Vapor Dulce De Leche in many of my recipes and it adds a nice creamy, richness especially to chocolates. Yummy!

Yeeeeessss...English Toffee is up for sale. Linda said the feedback was good on it.

Thanks! I'm getting ready to place another order but was waiting on a couple of flavors to show up. That was one I really wanted to try! My favorite vape but only when I DIY. I've never found a vendor 's mix that I've liked.
