I know exactly what you mean. Leave them sit for a couple weeks and then revisit them. If you still don't care for them, trade them to someone else for diff. juice. Taste is very subjective, what you can't stand, someone else will love

Hi all... I bought some flavorings from freedomsmokeusa.
Blackberry and pinneaple... they both have a terrible perfume taste... What can I do to get rid of this ? Or.. should I just throw them way ?

Thanks,
DonnaPF:(

Juice that is purchased from places that custom mix to order sometimes need a chance for the flavors to mingle and the perfume comparison often gets mentioned with new juices.
I personally don't let the bottle sit open for extended periods although that will speed up the process and if you're low on other juice you'd probably want to do it.
Otherwise just open the bottle and let air get in then close it back, shake it up and let it set for at least a week or two. The flavor will come through as well as a color change on some juices.
The perfumy thing usually starts to fade much sooner than that and you can test it along the way as the flavor gets better.

I don't have much experience with blending e-liquid flavoring, but I do have experience with blending fragrance 'juice'. The great perfumers age their juice in sealed containers for weeks to months before diluting & bottling.

The ingredients act on each other quite a bit (mostly Schiff Base reactions). Oxygen (leaving cap off) may speed the process but you can't control what's being oxidized & what's just evaporating off.

I would leave them sit closed and away from light.

Wait a second, didn't the OP say "flavorings"? FSUSA sells Flavour Art flavorings for making your own juice. Steeping will not change a flavoring. And vaping a flavoring would be a very perfumey experience, to say the least.

So I see the OP saying flavoring and everyone responding as if it is flavored juice. There is a difference.

Shouldn't we find out if it was a confusion on terminology first?

Maybe I'm too weird, but if someone says flavoring, I assume that it is flavoring. If we were talking soft drinks, I'd assume the flavoring was syrup or concentrated powder.

So, the question, besides the possible wording issue, is what percentage of flavoring did you use in your mix? Do your bases have any taste that you have to overcome? Have you tried putting the mix in a hot water bath and shaking, then tasting again after it cools?

Or did you get juice instead of FA flavorings and I'm all wrong with my assumptions?

Somewhere in time.
I recently purchased some TopVapor juice from Madvapes. Three different flavors all taste the same, like flowers. I left the caps off for three days, tried it again and it still tasted the same. I've got 120ml of this stuff that I can't even vape. Well, maybe in a few months it'll be better but I doubt it.

That's odd-I usually like their stuff. Sorry that happened.

Hoosier's right. What are we talking about here. Flavoring or juice?
