ROFL!! You know what bugs me even more than the "grammar" nazis? When my ex-husband corrects my pronunciation of words I've never heard... I read a LOT, so I come across a lot of words that just don't come up in conversation.... I know what they mean, and how to use them... but I've never heard them, so I have no idea how to pronouce them! He does it to me in almost EVERY conversation we have... "I think you have your em-PHA-sis on the wrong "Syl-LA-ble"... GRRRRRR!!!!

Andria

Adults who Sound Out words syllable by syllable to other Adults should be lined up and Repeatedly Kick in the Shins.

Maybe not the First Time they do it. But Repeat Offenders should definitely get a Good Old Fashion Shin Kicking.

A business? I'm going to get a BILL for all that help? A business? Just paid off "the mortgage" and now ............?:(

Pet 'peeves'? I shouldn't - but - "How do I rebuild coils?" seems to be a really common question. The kind people answer most every time; but, the info IS easy to find with just a tiny bit of 'thought' and that 'Search and Advanced Search' help tool.

I'm sure I'm not the first to wonder.

Not that long ago ECF hit its 1,000,000th counted posts, how many do you think were duplicate and triple, or more, posts?

1) People who refuse to use the search feature. How many threads asking "what do you store your stuff in?" Do we need?
2) People who only read the first and last page of a long thread, then ask questions that have already been asked and answered a few times in the thread.
3) Way off topic chat. You finally find the thread that looks to be the one that will answer your battery question, it's 35 pages long and you find it's over half full of off topic chat "it's going to snow again", "rough morning here I ran out of coffee" etc...

Rant over :)

I have to plead guilty on not using the search feature here sometimes, or even google... but in my defense, I just got here about 3 wks ago, and until 3 wks ago, I had no idea that this was a huge, HUGE thing on the internet, that there are gazillions of links related to vaping... I didn't know, I swear, and I keep forgetting, DOH! this has been going on for a long time before I got here!

My pet peeves of the day.....

Dooshbags throwing crap out the car windows.........And stop putting your stinky feet on the dashboard. Just seeing them makes me sick!

May be I'm getting too old?

Cheers

I kept track for about 3 months and ECF averages just under 10,000 posts each day. That still astounds me. We seem to have picked up roughly 1,500 new active members in the last couple of months so the count is probably even higher.

Vendors that sell Vegetable Glycerin by weight, and not volume, or fluid ounces .. talking about "its heavy" and "the bottle won't be full"

Yeah, I know it's heavy, and I want a full, thick, heavy, 4 fluid ounces of it. If CVS and Capella's can bottle, and sell VG by fluid ounces, so can everyone else!

I just got a 16 oz bottle of plain PG from Bulk Apothecary, ordered thru Amazon... $3.95.... in the "Older Folks" thread, someone just posted something similar about Vg also, from Bulk Apothecary. I like ordering thru Amazon because shipping is *quick*, 2-day priority. :thumb:

Oh really?? ... how much for shipping because I like the sounds of $3.95 for 16oz .. I may even be able to forgive it being packaged by weight, and not volume. Although I think PG is usually still packaged by fluid oz??

Pet peeve: When you are busy working and your cheap underwear binds up a little. You have to get your work done and try the old chair wiggle which unbinds things for a bit but then slowly binds again over time. So there you are, vape in one hand, keyboard in the other trying to earn your hard earned but 2 hours later or so you realize you are all bound up and are gonna need to stop, stand up and rearrange wasting valuable working and vaping time. Cheap underwear isn't worth the dollar savings.

I dunno, really, I was just glad to see "oz" instead of "ml" -- I can't think in metric! :D The shipping was $5.75, 2 day priority, and that's actually .20 cheaper than myfreedomsmokes charges for the 2 day priority, I just realized.

And I hear ya about the "metric thing" ... I lived in Canada for two years, and I had no choice but to adapt to the metric system .. which I hated, and I still can't convert kilometers into miles, but now my brain converts everything from ounces to mls.

Thanks for the feedback. :)

rounding third and heading home...
pet peeves- juice reviews(no one knows what tastes good to anyone else-strickly hit or miss)
must have this and it's "out of stock"- either make enough and don't complain about "clones" when the "real" ones are never around
number one peeve- people who think they know everything because you are especially annoying to those of us who do........
