I agree. There are some things you never buy used.... unless ya know what you're doing and even then I'm kinda iffy.

Yeah.. It just Bugs me that People go from Spending 150 ~ 200 Bucks a Month on something they Lit on Fire to Now Skimping and Spending 4 Bucks More to get a Decent Battery.

There is a difference between cheap and dumb ya know. I save my shampoo and conditioner bottles when there is that last little bit in there. But you don't buy used batts or things like that.

ROFL!! I thought I was the only one who did stuff like this! When the bottle of dish liquid at my kitchen sink gets really low, I dilute it with a little water to make it easier to empty out... I keep a bottle of these watery remnants in my lower cabinets, and if I get really close to running out, I use the remnant bottle. I think I learned stuff like this from my grandmother, who always saved little bits of foil that didn't have any food on it.

But the thing with the batteries is so dumb it's absolutely asinine -- like the .....$$ movies! :D Emergency rooms are just filled with the incredibly stupid!

Another pet peeve...

Going to an interesting thread only to find out it ends in 30 pages of arguing and blah blah blah.... could someone be the bigger person and leave so the we could get back on topic? More and more I see threads being modded and shut down like crazy. Can't we all pretend to get along?

Ya know, celticluver, I've been sorely tempted to drop in on a few of these and suggest that everybody switch sides. Just to see in anyone noticed, or even cared.

I think sometimes they argue for the sake of arguing. By the time I read 2 pages into it, I can't even figure out what they are arguing about.

Heh... that's happened to me a few times here... I'm going along, reading, replying, and after about 10 pages, I'm like.. wait.. what are we arguing about again??

    Just fix it already!!

I didn't figure out where the light dimmer on my car was until 6 mths after I got my drivers license and I already had my car a yr. and a half before that.

Pet Peeve of the week: Reading comprehension.

I'm with you; it always puzzled me that not only do most folks graduate from high school, many of them even go on to college, yet it's instantly apparent that they can't even read!!!

I forgot one of my main pet peeves. Walmart!!! Cause I'm having to go into one now. Lord help me.

I know exactly what you mean! I have a sort of love/hate relationship with Wally world... I love their prices on 85% of stuff we buy; I hate that the walmart nearest me is apparently run by a complete ...... -- half the stuff we normally buy, we have to go to the other walmart near here to get it, after finding out that it's completely missing from the shelves of the one nearest us. And sometimes we have to journey 10-15-20 miles to visit 3 or 4 different walmarts, to find one item. It's insane.

When I used to live in a small town of 5000 where they put in a WalMart. I looked all over the store twice for toilet paper and couldn't find it. Finally, I asked an employee where they hid it. Oh, he said, it's located in the garden section. And so it was. ????

Ok, that is just illogical! What?!?!?!? What logic dictated that? Maybe for people that use leaves to wipe?!?
