I was going back over the earlier posts in this thread, and now that I've been doing this for a bit over a month, I can soooooo relate to this one, and not just for video reviews, either -- the point of a review is to tell OTHERS what it tastes like, NOT how much you like or hate it. That bugs the very living spit out of me, "this is nasty". Period. No reason why it's nasty, or what it's like. Or the reverse, "oooh I love this!!!" But, WHY do you love it??? I read or watch reviews to learn about the subject of the review, NOT the subjective tastes of the reviewers!
Along the same lines are the reviews, either video or written, in which the reviewed e-liquid is compared to other liquids which the reader/viewer may or may not have tasted. Granted, it's difficult to describe tastes and smells with mere words, but TRY. Comparing something to something else is ONLY useful if the viewer/reader is familiar with those other flavors, and assuming the viewer/reader has tried every one that the reviewer has is just plain arrogant, and not helpful in the least.

I love facts and numbers; I'm a geek that way. I agree with what you're saying, wholeheartedly. I understand that what someone tastes can be different than the next person, but I still want to know WHAT you're tasting that makes it good/bad.
There are really just one or two Youtube talking heads that I listen to when they're doing juice reviews. I may not agree with their opinions, but at least I'm getting the information I want to make my own decision.
Another Pet Peeve: When a new member is just breaking away from the new member forum and dares to make an opinion on a topic and someone jumps on him/her! That just ticks me off! Especially if the opinion was asked for by the OP and it's a legitimate, sincere opinion. GGRRRR!View attachment 314307
Lol. Yeah, I've seen that. Some people take opinions way too personally.
