What does the pg bottle look like? Where would it be located in the store? It is used for cattle? How bout horses or pigs? I have looked a couple times at my tractor supply and can't find it. Any chance u guys could post pics so I kmow what to look for? I have already bought syringes and needles from there, every time I walk in those ol farmers look at me like "she must be lost" lol I really get a kick out of it. I just walk around and try to look like I know what I am doing, ha!

Straight, you've gotta be joking.

Xaira, this is a map of about a 10 mile radius where I live. Each point is a 7-11, and I don't even like Slurpees.

I'll go with the Farm and Fleet PG. I read somewhere about someone who says that it's not pure enough, and looking for pharma grade. So, I did some googling and by definition of anything with the USP tag on it IS pharma grade. Good enough for me.

Thats a lot but i think we got ya beat

What brands are the rest of u using, and what brands didn't u like? So now I gotta go in and ask for it then see if they will let me smell it first? Lol o this is gonna be a hoot!!

As soon as the bottle is opened in a non-sterile environment, it is no longer considered USP, so I kinda' doubt they'd break the seal.

I see a summary on the next page of the linked thread. I don't see a report which would give an overview of the methodology. Not even an agent sig. line showed. (that could be a formatting issue on my phone)

I know it is a paste from an email which means....it's from an email.

Do we know the sample size? Is it an average summary or a single run summary?

The reason I wonder is I have seen, over my time here, poor PG reported by users and id like to know if it is a one-off thing from various producers, or if it is a specific producer. I know who produces the PG for TSC. I've been through 2 gallons from that producer and have had great PG. I'm using another producer's stuff now and it is great stuff.

Many folks here have used PG from these producers with great results. There are a few that have gotten poor batches from them too, but they are a small number in comparison. I'm attempting to find the quality/price ratio that works for me, so evidence is important. Returning TCS pG is and easy thing if I were to get a poor batch. Only a slightly more difficult return from the co-op store in Flora. A mail order RMA is a bit of a pain due to my work hours.

I have settled on the Proctor Gamble VG, but still forming opinions on on PG producers even after all this time.

I received this from an anonymous person that has a molecule machine, he or she called it.. Ran 3 different pg tests. I was concerned, because one of the pg's was horrible and gave me muscle spasms. Since I switched to DOW, I've had no bad reactions.. I don't know how large the samples were. I really don't believe that USP makes it all ok. Heck, volunteers approve this stuff. I also got food poisoning from USDA meat, from poor sanitation.. I'll stick to DOW from now on. They are the ones who pretty much cater to the Food Industry.

My tractor store PG is working just fine for me. At 19.99 a gallon its a bargain. After all I don't know where the vendors buy the PG from to begin with why should I pay twice as much plus shipping? The thing that makes me cringe is the Humco glyercin at Walmart which may or may not be vegetable or animal based- who knows. With The VG I splurge and buy from the health food store or something I know for certain is vegetable based glycerin.
