Recently I decided to take up DIY because I'm cheap and all the low price e-juice typically vape harsh, probably because I chain vape and have a sensitive throat.

Anyway, I'm ordering all my supplies and all that's left for me to decide is where to buy my flavorings from. There are PG suspended flavorings and alcohol based flavorings, which is smoother to vape, typically? Any suggestions for a flavoring vendor?
Help a fella out here.

Hashness from flavoring has more to do with flavoring level than it does the carrier agent. (Unless one is sensitive to a carrier, obviously)

Then some flavors are meant to be bitter which some folks find harsh, or meant to be sour which some folks find harsh.

I usually recommend Capella's for new mixers as the majority of their flavorings are very forgiving when it comes to total flavoring %.

Nude Nicotine has very good highly concentrated flavorings, along with the purest nicotine concentrate I've seen(based on chemical analysis sheets) and some of the best prices on lab gear. They have a good selection but almost all of them are specific ready to go mixes that aren't really meant for custom recipes. Just add the flavor you want at 5% and it's good to go.

Edit: I guess I should add that their flavorings are ethyl alcohol/VG based.
