The cobras are coming, the cobras are coming!

Haven't been on too much. Spring has sprung and I hit the lawn and gardens to do spring cleanup. :)

Well hopefully they are coming... I haven't heard from him since he said he would send me an invoice. With the time difference it is hard to find a good time to get in touch with him. I will skype him tonight.

We have to do a spring cleaning too! This week is the first nice week we have had with decent weather. It was still snowing and or raining last week with lows in the low 30's. And now suddenly it is too hot to go outside!!

Damn. Still snowing? Is that normal even or your area? I know the Midwest had redic storms plowing through. I admit I'm thrilled to see spring. I love this time. Not too hot. Not too cold. Humidity low.

Unfortunately it isn't that unusual.. When we moved here in 1999, it snowed a handful of times in June. Also keep in mind our elevation is around 4,000 feet. The town we do all our shopping in is about 3,000 feet. so while it was snowing here last week it was raining there. We are in a valley surrounded by the rockies and since I have lived here they stay snowcapped until June or July. We are right around the corner from Glacier Park and it is not strange for there to be snow on the ground in July or August. And of course the glaciers in Glacier are always white!

Think Alaska.... while it is not as brutal here, that is what our landscape and weather is closest to.

What is more unusual then it snowing last week is that it is so hot this week.

Wow. I thought New England brought some odd weather patterns. I guess that's a trade off for peaceful living :)
The most bizarre we had were tornados which don't make it to us, and an October snow.
Hope you're doing and feeling well.

I lived in North Hampton New Hampshire for a year, the weather is tame compared to here. However, you guys have all that humidity so your 25 degrees feels as cold if not colder then our 5 to 10 degrees. On the flip side, with the exception of this winter we get at least a week each year that is between negative 30 or 35 degrees... That is cold... dry cold or not!! But in all honesty it gets to a point where it doesn't make a difference, I really can't tell the difference between between negative 20 degrees or negative 35 degrees either way I am staying inside and close to the fireplace.

Haha. Yes. I completely understand that. I love hearing the weather forecasters. "Today will be warmer with highs reaching 5. Windchill will make it feel like -10 to 0." Yes. And yesterday felt like -15. Who can tell that 5-10 degree difference. Below a certain temp, cold is cold. Period. But damn.....-30?

I work in Amherst, MA. And when that wind blows, look out.

I had a very good friend who lived right on the strip on the ocean side of hampton beach just down the block from the Casino and I spent a bunch of time there. Even though "Cold is Cold" there was a big difference between a cold winters day at my moms house in Northhampton and one on the strip. That humid cold assisted by the ocean breeze would rip right through you!

Oh and I do know what you mean. It cuts like a knife. (And I don't mean the Bryan Adams song)

The Cobras cleared customs and are CINCINNATI today, so they should be to our local post office for pickup sometime next week. DHL is a little strange though as it does not deliver to our state. So the packages are taken to Colorado by DHL, handed off to the USPS and then delivered here. I have sen the packages take 2 to 3 days to get from Colorado to hear and as many as 5. They should be in Colorado tomorrow so I am hoping the Cobras will be on the website no later then next Friday.
