My hands are numb from the cold. :)
But you know what, when I get back home, I can whip a few of these up and mail them back if you want.

Cold, it is 26 degrees out there now! You should be warming up now and preparing for the 3 degrees expected this evening. But I hope your tent has not collapsed from the weight of the snow, we got hit pretty hard yesterday. It took us close to an hour and half to drive home from town last night and we passed 4 accidents on the way.

I still don't understand that one. What you are describing to me indicates a micro hot spot. You have a provari.....how is it when you turn it down? And depending on the wick, you may have to tip more. But that can be discussed when you have your cobra setup.

I probably should have been practicing on the DID all this time.

Yeah. You didn't see me clearing the snow every half hour.

It looks pretty good. Might have a bit of a grounding issue with the top coil. That's usually caused by the wick grounding on the base. Other than that, it looks like you just need to tip it some, so the juice can wick. Gens don't vape very well in the upright position.

Yep, so the low vapor and horrible thrroat hit are mysterious! Hmm...

All it takes is one wire glowing when you vape it, and the hit will be very harsh.

If that is the case, probably better I haven't messed with it!

Hi Almighty... hope you are having a nice weekend.

I'm doing ok. I have a Christmas party to attend tonight for my wife's job...I'd rather not. ;)

I'm doing a fill in show tonight at 11pm EST.
Think I might make a u wick for my Cobra.
I hate to have too much content when I'm not in my regular time slot.

Ok. Adjustment made. AG's confirmation confirmed. Now it's vaping like a freight train. I'm going to watch this for a couple of days to see if its worth the extra work LONG term.

I thought about trying the dual wicks for my own curiosity. But I'll wait and see if I can get my hands on a second cobra first. I imagine vapor won't improve, maybe even diminish some, and TH will turn much harsher. And that's not something I want with a peppermint chocolate.
That was pretty much my experience: more TH, less vapor. Similar level of flavor, though.

I've been pretty gung-ho about trying all the different techniques I hear about for a long time, but AG made an awesome point a while back in this thread about keeping it simple and that got me thinking about re-thinking my overall approach. I've been "keeping it simple" with my genni setups for several weeks now and my satisfaction level with this type of atty has gone through the roof. Yeah, I'll still be playing around and experimenting with different things, but for my day to day vaping I'll be sticking with the tried and true straightforward setups for now :)

Hmm for some reason I don't get good vapor production on my cobra kinda frustrated.. Using 400mesh w/ 30g kanthal wrapped 5/6... Produces massive vapor when cap is off then when I vape it I get minimal vapor and epic throat hit.. The type that kicks in the back of the head... Kinda frustrated as I've tried different wraps to no avail.. Ugh

I think anything I can suggest has already been mentioned, but just make sure your air hole is right near the wick and tilt your atty while you vape so the coils don't run dry and give you a burned hit, somewhere between 2:00 and 3:00 works well for me most of the time. If you're using it on a VV device, try lowering your voltage a little and see if that makes any improvement

Christmas party sounds nice.... We just put up our Christmas tree, so I am in a Christmas spirit kind of mood.
