It's at 1.7 ohms. It seem fine at that voltage at first then I remembered that I forgot to screw on the fill screw. Now it's at 3.8 volts. LOL. I guess covering the fill hole slows down wick ability?

I got mine today. Just happened to check the tracking and saw that it was delivered a mere 36 hours after shipment . . . figures it would arrive on the one day I hadn't gone down the road to get the mail

You guys are so lucky. There was no movement on mine since acceptance. And, now it's still stuck in Montana. In general the USPS works really well for me, but, sometimes they just plain suck!
Mines still stuck in Montana too. BUT....I will say this. It'll sit in Montana and then suddenly appear in Springfield (closest sort to my delivery post office) likely tomorrow. My bet? You'll have it Monday like probably me. Weekends are funny. Because even though mail doesn't work Sundays, packages still move. I've shipped Saturday mornings priority. If sent really early, receiver has Monday already.
Dual #500 wicks, 5/6 wraps, 1Ω. I used 32 Kanthal and it works fine with the stock nut. Just have to keep the wraps close together.

BTW I always use the "Jack Frost" method to oxidize (torch before rolling) and I have never once had to hit a wick again after rolling it.
This is the only vaping setup that makes me cough like, umm, well forget it.
You must be patient with this setup for the first 24 hrs. Once it's seasoned it mellows out and there is nothing like it. The only way to get more flavor is to drip juice on your tongue.

I started with 50mm x 60mm wide. Thats another trick the big boys taught me, get as much mesh into the wick as possible. I had to use the tapered end of a sewing needle to hold the wicks when doing the juice burn. Thats how tiny the opening is. One of those coils is a 6/7.
