They keep telling me the Cobras will be shipped to us the end of November, so if they aren't changing their story I am not changing mine! But with shipping time from the UK, and our setup time (we have to cut the wire mesh etc) I am thinking it will be closer to two weeks then 1 week. If you are on the list you will get an email roughly 24 hours before they go on sale with the exact time.
Unfortunately I am not allowed to sell the cobras for less then we are now. I tried that with the cobra tank and it didn't go over well. So unless the rules change we will not be offering 25% off. I am giving one away as a contest prize sometime in December
So just out of curiosity, what does everybody think is a good time of day for the Cobras to go on sale. I'd like to do it when the largets group of people will be available. If you are going to give an answer please include your time zone!

If it's a work day, I would say 6pm PST. That would be 9PM eastern time so most people would still be up.

Does anyone know what material is used around the positive post on the cobra?
If nobody answers before then, I'll take a peek at it later (it should be due for a refill in a couple hours and I'm gonna do up a new coil, anyway)
That's what it looks like to me. A lot of the cheaper chinese-made attys just use silicone, but the Cobra is a solid white plastic, most likely Delrin.
Just re-coiled on the same wick, one of the first I did up for the Cobra, and no hotspots or other issues at all. I think I'm definitely getting the hang of this, now I probably should have switched to another juice, though. I'm getting a little tired of tearing my setup down to clean off the gunk buildup . . . glad I only have a few juices that are prone to this, I'd go nuts if they all were (assuming I wasn't already a little crazy)

Believe it or not, that will tax the server even more. If there are 30 cobras for sale and 100 people trying for one, and they release only 10 at once, those 100 people are going to hammer at an average of 10 refreshes (likely more) to try for one. Then another batch of 10'is released, and you have remaining 90 going after it. Only now more caught wind of these being sold so a fresh 20 come on. Now is another wave of hammering. This will repeat.
it only seems that spreading the load will help. It's a burden 3 or more times in a wave.

But.....if Moo would sell me one on the side, then there would be one less available and THAT could help.
Moo it sure has been a while..I've been hiding out here on the East Coast..I got a bit burnt out chasing the vape trail..Went back to a Joye 510 at 4.2 with a drip tip. Then I decided I need to burn up some cartos and ordered a tank a couple weeks back. Fell for the naked green tank and ordered it last evening along with a few other things. Thanks for the sale it was great!!

OK, there is no such thing as a bullet proof server, the best server in the world can crash. It's likely but it can happen.
That being said it wasn't the load that crashed the server the last time, the php had an issue. The fact that there was a higher load didn't help the situation, but it would have crashed either way. We actually had more people on-line after the crash then before. For that matter we had more people on-line during the black friday sale then we had through the entire cobra sale and the new server did not skip a beat! So barring any fluke bad things happening we should be fine. That being said I have not been able to avoid fluke bad things for the past six months.
This time we are going to do something a little different. If the new batch goes as fast as the last batch and you are unable to get one, please email us within an hour of them selling out, and we will put you on a waiting list to to have first dibs at the next batch. The waiting list will be in the order that the emails were received. We will then confirm that you did not get one in either sale. We will only be putting as much as 50% of the following batches inventory towards the waiting list. We also ordered more cobras this time.
