I've just ordered a ipv2 (missus is buying me it for Crimbo) and I'm looking for batteries to use with it,
i need two things from my battery, one is a long duration as I chain vape most of the day while driving, but I am using nautilus's and normally running 8-9w so it doesn't need a massive amperage but it does need to have a damn good capacity (I run my mvp2 into the Amber on a regular basis) so I was looking at the EFEST PURPLE 18650 3100 MAH FLAT TOP 20A

for my other battery choice I need the ability to run low ohm builds on my lemo or magma and I also want to be able to run an Atlantis so I was looking at these
EFEST PURPLE IMR 18650 2100 MAH 30A BUTTON TOP
or
sony-us-18650-vtc4-2100mah-battery
For the drippers etc I'd rather have plenty of extra power and not be running the battery's to the limit but at the same time it will only be run for a couple hours in the evenings,
whats yer thoughts on my choices?

As Efest as a company is known for overstating both their amp rating and mah, the Sony would be a good purchase. Another option might be ...IMR 18650 Battery 30A Orbtronic SX30 Ultra High Drain Hybrid rechargeable Li-ion | Li-Mn

Also when comparing mah ratings, realize they are calculated from a full charge down to 2.5 volts. If the battery spend much of that time in the 3.4 volt - 2.5 volt range it is fairly useless for vaping. A good quality higher amp battery with a lower mah rating will often hold the charge at a higher useful voltage longer than a battery that is advertised with a higher mah rating.

Here's a chart comparing run times between Efest Purple IMR 18650 3100 mAh 20A, Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900 mAh, Panasonic NCR18650B 3400 mAh (I think), Samsung INR18650-25R 2500 mAh, Sony18650VTC5 2600 mAh. Not sure if that page will load at 3A draw, but if it doesn't just check it and it will update. Here's the page where you can pick batts.

The NCR18650B wins at less than 3.3v with the Efest Purple 3100 coming in second.

Unless they've changed recently, all the efest 18650 2100mah batteries were repackaged Sony VTC4's. I have the efest 18650 2500mah batteries (Labeled as 35 amp but they're actually 20 continuous) and have zero complaints about them at all - I only buy batteries locally though and that's the only higher capacity ones available. If I had the option without Canada Post being d-bags, I would go for the SX30s though, I haven't seen a bad post about them to date.
