I am still struggling with making good coils. I would love to see pictures of ones you have made yourself! Doesn't matter if they are fancy or not.

When you are learning to make aliens your gonna go through a bunch of wire. Your gonna mess up a bunch but don't get frustrated. Learn from your mistakes. You will good enough that you will be able to run the drill wide open and clapton the alien. I went through probably 100' for wire learning the alien. It takes time and a big learning curve. The biggest learning curve is how to stretch the wire enough without over stretching it. Watch YouTube videos on practice, practice, practice. Here is a pic of SS aliens I did last night for my 27mm Mason RDA. Aliens are 3 cores of 26g SS claptoned with 32 ga SS wrapped 7 times on a 4mm coming in at .22

Love this idea. This is my very first build. 24 gauge Kanthal, 6/7 wraps, firing at .41 ohms. Japanese organic cotton. I just finished it and haven't even tried it yet. Wish me luck. This is on the TFV8 RBA.

I forgot to mention, it's 3 mm ID. Just hit it on my GX350 at 70 watts, and holy Buddha, the flavor is amazing, and the clouds, wow. I'm loving this DIY stuff.

No. It's more of a twisted coil.

I blew up the pic and it looked braided. I have to try building a braided coil one of these days. I keep saying that but still no braided coils have shown up on my RDA deck. Lol.

Here's a braided wire I made up. I'm waiting for my Pharaoh to get here. The pict on the right is a smaller braided coil on my limitless plus. I'm really liking the braided coils but they take some time to make..

I have done the vertabraid and the 10 wire. They both vape great. Alotawire on YouTube has some great braid videos. My 10 wire was 28g stainless also did it with .3 ribbon but did not have a macro lens then so no good pics. My avatar is the 10 wire though (actually 5 wires looped). The vertabraid is 3 wires looped.
