Can't find the pic of my shoulder blade atm, but these are the ones on my calves.

That is some incredible work! Beautiful coloring, and illustration. Very nice!!

Interesting Cheryl ... How long is it supposed to stay in effect? May be perfect for Jo ... Although, I may want her to *FULLY EXPERIENCE* what tattooing is all about ;) FEEEEELING THE BURN !!!!!

OH YEAH!! Full experience needed!! When I got my armband (2 inches tall full wrap Solid Black!!) I was in the chair for 12 straight hours!! The tattoo artist had a curse jar. He made $50 extra bucks off me in the first hours! That was at .50 a word!!

I have a cross with a crown of thorns (around the center) on my shoulder blade. Got it after completing freshman year of college; designed by my then GF (now wife). Next will probably be a sacred heart in memory of my mom, with her nickname on a banner. Also to be designed by my wife.
Had a cartridge piercing; but took that out a few years back.

I had both my ears pierced with 14 guage that i got bored with and took out. I still have a small one on the top of my left ear that i like. I have my tounge, my right nipple and a frenum piercing. I'd take them out but they remind me of another life i used to have lol.

I have a bad tribal gecko on my back that was spur of the moment. I also have on my left calf a variation of the tarot card 6 of Swords from the soleone deck. I'm looking for something for my bicep but i cant seem to find anything that i want to commit to.

I've got 2g lobes, 12g second holes, a 16g helix in the right ear, a 16g daith in the left, and a 10g VCH. I had an eyebrow piercing, but had trouble healing it- as I kept getting whacked in the face. Every time it got bumped or snagged, I'd have to heal it all over. After a year of this (with no rejection, amazingly), I retired it. If I ever get into a les hazardous field of work, I might have it redone.

I have a tattoo of a cockatiel done "Old School" style on the right ankle, and a ships wheel on the left. In the picture of the cockatiel tattoo, it was still very fresh and the belly has scabbed up badly. It doesn't look that way anymore (2 years later), but I don't have a more recent picture. The colors are still bright, and the lines are crisp. I'm a little OCD with the sunscreen when my ankles are exposed.

CaSH, is that gonna be your whole back? Man, all that black on the bottom is gonna hurt. :) It's a nice piece of work. Did he give any projections on how long it would take?

Can I make an honest observation, understanding this drawing will likely not be exact once on your back? Jesus' head seems a bit small for his body. LOL

Once again, good luck to ya. Keep us posted and give us some pics of what he gets done tomorrow. :)

LOL ... The background will NOT be filled in Velvet !!! NO WAY I can do all that shading at the bottom. The drawing I randomly found online somewhere a couple years ago. I believe it was just a sketch of some sort .... Ian (doing my tattoo tomorrow) will be making it much more detailed .... Including making everything proportional, etc.... :D I'd also like to capture the pain and anguish in Christ's eyes, knowing that he just saved humanity and his job was now finished :)

Very cool, I wasn't sure if that drawing was something Ian did. Seeing his work, I'm sure it will turn out much nicer. Can't wait to see it. Will it all get completed tomorrow?

hoping ... slotted in for 7 hours 8-o If it turns out well, going back for a coverup on my left calf hopefully before he leaves next tuesday (he's just visiting for 1 week) !!!!

trust me ... mine is REALLLLY sad ... Hilarious, and embarrassing :( LOL

ehhh... wtheck ...

Thought I had a son at age 18, had his name tattooed on my left calf. I grew up quite quickly knowing of this newest responsibility, and I do owe it to him or I'd likely be in my 7th year of college partying every day .... A paternity proved he wasn't mine ... and I haven't seen him since ...
