Well, that certainly makes a world of sense. LOL

Can't wait to see the work when it's done.

I posted a bigger picture of my back tatt on the the first page of this thread if your interested. I was very excited for that one as it was for my Dad. He died in '95 of cancer at the age of 47. Pretty certain it was somehow smoking relating, making PVs an even greater find for me. :)

we need to stop by one of these days ... haven't seen you in months !!!!

I hope so, he loved Eagles, it's the one thing that always reminds me of him. I used to get him something Eagle related every year at Christmas, got pretty tough to come up with new inventive things each year. Think this one was the ultimate gift and the last one I could give. Thank you.... :)

awww... that is soooo sweet!!!!

My mom LOVES eagles and is VERY patriotic. Does not leave the house without wearing an american flag or red/white/blue. I can only hope I can do the same someday in remembrance of here!

I have 3 piercings in my right ear and two in the left.

Want a tat of a rose bud with stem to cover a scar on my ankle. My husband said no, afraid I'm gonna get some horrible disease. My daughter also wants a tat but she is only 14. So, for her 18th birthday, we plan to get them at the same time. That way she is an adult responsible for her self and I can tell the old man to kiss off!

Some amazing artwork posted here. Very nice everyone.

I too have had back surgery and thought about a tramp stamp to cover it, but the area is still sensitive to the slightest touch 9 years after the surgery, hmmm.

I think I would like an ankle bracelet out of all my babies names (1 human and 6 furry). Human front and center with 3 of each furry on each side.

* Tattoo on my left calf (won't go in to detail on this one ;) )
I wonder if it's like my husbands and involves a noose and a certain type of bird?

I have 8 so far with the 9th and 10th planned. It will be huge compared to my other ones. The guy I go to, which happens to be my cousin, is one of the best in TN and has several awards. He has this huge dragon planned for my right leg that was messed up so bad in the our accident. It is going to be a dragon that covers my whole right leg from the hip down. The one place that is scarred so bad he can't tattoo over is going to be made to look like the dragon took a bite out of my leg. The small scars where I had external fixators are going to be made into claw marks. It will be another 2 years before he can start since scars have to age first and i have a few places where they did skin grafts that have to age as well.. I have a big scar that goes from just below my belly button to the middle of my back that I'm going to have a dotted line put right in the center of it and then have the words" Cut along dotted line" right above it,lol

I have several others already and a few piercings too but I've already taken up to much space here, lol

Oh Ya, my other addiction, INK! Wrist band, Harley Davidson bar and shield with wings. Right ankle and outer calf, wrought iron type scrolling in black with large chrysanthemum. My back from shoulders to waist is all tropical foliage and parrots. I love all of them, the whole process, picking a design, the pain, the healing. This is so interesting to see what everyone else has......Cash and Mrs., good luck, thats one awesome piece your going for. all my best, dawnlori

Well ... Here is last nights damage!!!! The artist is Ian from Truth and Triumph Tattoo from Dayton, Ohio. Did a week guest appearance at Black13 in Nashville. He is an AMAZING artist, and a fellow Christian as well :)

Joanna went first ... Free Hand Drawn ... :) This was her first Tattoo and she did great!

Steve's Turn: I brought in a picture of a drawing I wanted the tattoo to look like, and Ian went above and beyond. Free Hand drawn again, no stencils ... (still amazed, as I have never seen a free hand drawing tattoo artist ...)

The Original Drawing:

Ian, Free Hand Drawing It on my back with Sharpies :)

Right in the midst of it all ... Talk about dedication ... Check out the Prodigy in the right hand ;)

Nope, neither of us took anything for the pain, and let me tell you........OUCH! haha. Feet definitely do not have alot of meat on them and today I can barely walk! Steve keeps giving me a hard time, but it freakin hurts!!! haha. Oh well, hopefully the pain will go away soon, and I'm glad I did it. I love the way it turned out! And Steve's is awesome! Mine only took 45 minutes, I don't know how he was able to stand it for the 3.5 hours he was in the chair! I'm supposed to be going downtown tonight for a "girl's night", and I found some heels I can wear that don't touch the tattoo at all, but I'm sure it's gonna be a painful night, especially if I can barely walk WITHOUT shoes on! *sigh*
