So I have been back and forth with a good tank solution so I can quit giving money to Aspire for BVC heads that only seem to last 2-3 days at 15w. So I got this kayfun lite plus V2 clone by EHpro from eciggety for only $40. I must say...this clone is TOP NOTCH!!! Quality is very nice for a clone!!

I have a fogger v4.1 and I couldn't get that thing to stop leaking to save my life...not to mention the build is very hard to do. I got this kayfun running first try!!! I have a 1.2ohm build using 28 gauge on a 5/64 drill bit wicked with japanese cotton and this thing is doing stellar!!! What is the average wattage for a Kayfun with this type of build??

I'm not on the other hand getting decent flavor out of this. Just mediocre, but I can taste it. It might be that I've been vaping this juice for a good week and I'm getting immune to the flavor. I was also noticing flavor drop off on the BVC heads too.

Anyways...this thing is GREAT!!! Can't believe I didn't get one sooner!!!

The ones from eciggity have expanded air holes. Tighten the airflow screw a turn or two and it will probably give better flavor. There are also drip tips that work better than the one it comes with. I like about 10 watts usually.

Thanks for the info!! I am running it at 15w currently

So I've been rockin' this thing for a couple days now and I absolutely love the flavor!! I had to find my sweet spot! My only issue that drives me crazy is how hard it is to get the top cap off this thing. I've actually pulled muscles in my hand/wrist trying to get this thing off. It would help if the made the top cap knurled for better grip. I do prefer to fill it that way because I have a tough time gauging how much when filling from the bottom. Oh, and I'm using the M-tank exclusively.

When refilling from the bottom, just fill until the liquid reaches the top of the clear window (the edge closest to the fill port. I guess that's the bottom of the window when it's right-side up. You know what I mean). You'll want to put in more liquid, but don't. You need that air bubble at the top for the juice to flow properly.

I don't have that plastic mid-tank piece. I'm using the M-tank attachment because I like to see my juice!! All I know is that I'm using a .... load of juice!! Bought a fresh bottle of Five Pawns Gambit yesterday afternoon and the bottle is half gone!!! So 15ml of juice in a day and a half?? Sounds about right!! No complaints though!!

These do go through a lot more juice than clearos, that is for certain.

I found building 1.6 to 1.8 ohm nano coils and 15 to 18 watts on kayfuns and kayfun style tanks tend to work best, it gives better vape production and flavor, because you have more heating surface area in contact with your wick.
Yes it takes a little more patience and dexterity to thread your wick threw the smaller diameter coil, but well worth the effort.
I do 10 to 12 wraps around a 14 gauge blunt tip needle.
10 wraps = 1.6 ohms
12 wraps = 1.8 ohms
For me this gives a nice warm juicy full flavor vape with nice cloud production even at 60/40 or 70/30 pg/vg but I tend to stick to 50/50, too much PG tends to make my nose run.
Too heavy of VG on the other hand may not wick well unless you widen out the juice channels.

what is the difference from a micro coil and a nano coil?

My limited understanding: microcoils have bigger diameters, so they get paired with fatter wicks that hold more juice. Nanocoils are much smaller diameter but more wraps, so they concentrate the heat into a smaller volume of wick. They airflow is also somewhat better around a nano coil than a micro coil. So, I guess that nano coils can produce more vapor for a given wattage, but the wick might struggle to keep up and the juice can scorch.

I would say to cover about half of the large chimney section with juice then (about halfway up from where the small chimney screws into the large chimney). Most of the juice is going to fill the volume around the small chimney anyway, so you're not losing that much my not filling more volume around the large chimney.

Flavor loss= drink more water. That is what I was told and I thought that I drank enough water but still no flavor. Went to the doctors and was told I was dehydrated. Now a drink water all day long, just like that the flavor is back.

Vape Away :vapor:
This should give you a better idea.
