Dangit, Lewis, after a second viewing, I decided I just had to have the sandstone tip, too. Another order placed! :p
I know how that goes I do that a lot when buying the blanks :)

Wow Lewis in just 12 hours you have sold 20 drip tips - that's over half of what you put up there lol - you are one popular manufacturer of drip tips lol - congrats - I am already looking forward to the next batch of those beautiful drip tips
Thanks, it is cool to see them sell so fast! I hope they keep selling well so I can keep buying new tools for the lathe.

Great job Lewis!!

Had to work yesterday but was able to get the last Waterfall. Of course couldn't buy just one so I got the chocolate toffee as well. Should look good on my Woodvil!!

Thanx Lewis and keep em coming!!
Thank you and congrats on getting the last waterfall tip.

My 2 tips came today. Both are absolutely gorgeous!!

The choco/toffee looks great on my cocobolo Woodvil and the waterfall looks really good on the blue REO Grand.

I like the dual o-rings. Tip doesn't wiggle any more!

GREAT job Lewis!!!

Thanks! It is great to hear that you like how they came out. :)

Omg Lewis my drip tips came in today - I absolutely love the dual o ring - fits perfectly not a single wiggle - easy to remove with a little wiggling to start the process - so I now know I want a 1 inch comfort dual o ring style for the purple ones - the charoite purple haze and lilac lava please - beautiful drip tips - thanks Lewis!

Thanks for the purchase :)
I hope you like how the dual o-rings came out.
Finally used the new tip with one of my tanks this weekend and the dual o-rings work great. Swapped out the pre-installed with the smaller ones and it fits perfectly. What is the difference between this material and the trustone?

That is great that the dual oring connector is fitting well in different devices :)
Trustone blanks are powdered stone that is mixed with resin to bind the powder together. Lava blanks are acrylic and made in small batches. These arcylic blanks are not as brittle as trustone and should be more durable. From how they cut I would guess they are half way inbetween acrylic acetate and inlace acrylester. Acrylic acetate is very durable and inlace acrylester is brittle like trustone.

Loving my new tips! I ended up keeping the waterfall, sandstone, and abalone for myself and my friend snapped up the chocolate toffee, fire nebula, and texas sunrise one. I'm a big fan of the iridescent materials, but I love my waterfall and sandstone ones so much! They remind me of the old-fashioned marbles. So far, the double o-rings have fit all the drippers I've tried and my kayfun mini and they are super-secure!

I know what you mean about the inlace acrylester being brittle - I have one of the ...forget the name, but it's a gorgeous gold sort of stylized ming-looking one I got from you back in Jan-Feb and I was careless with it one day and holding my pv just by my drip tip in my mouth and put a crack in it. You have to look closely to see it and nothing chipped off, but it taught me not to do that anymore! Just to clarify - it's not like they are fragile - mine have all taken quite a beating, but the angle I was holding it and the weight of the pv was just too much for the material.

Superb work, as always, Lewis!

So Lewis did you order those new tools yet? I'm wondering when and what kind of Lewis magic we are in for next lol! I can't wait for the next batch of drip tips because it should have the purple ones I've requested in it lol! I'm hoping some of your beautiful creations will be coming out at the beginning of next month too!

Thanks! It is great to hear you and your friend like your tips and that they fit your drippers. The inlace acrylester is like that, it is really durable until it breaks. I beat on one for a month and it finally broke from a short fall.

I ordered all of the tools a week ago. Only a quarter of the parts have showed up. I wish they all shipped as fast as DV.
I would guess the next batch will be toward the middle to end of next month.
Just another example of how Lewis's DTs can be the perfect match for any mod. :)

All the tools showed up except the inserts(part that cuts). After 1.5 weeks of waiting I tried contacting them but had no luck. At 2 weeks I gave up and ordered more inserts from a different company. So far I have been waiting for 3 weeks on the first insert package and 1 week on the second insert package. If they dont show up in another week I guess I will try insert company #3. Either way I am determined to get my inserts and will keep you updated on progress.
Aug 3rd - 10th I will be up in the mountains with kids hopefully catching some fish.
