Here or pm is fine. Each tip you request I make 3 to 5 of that tip. Once made the tip you requested isnt saved for you. It is best to get your tip when the batch goes up for sale as they sell pretty fast. If for some reason you didn't get the tip you wanted just let me know and I will turn more in the next batch.
On pinnacledriptips.com there is a newsletter I send out when a batch goes on sale, I also post it on the forum. There are links to blanks and tip styles that are programmed on the site as well.
A guesstimate of when your requested tips would be made is 1.5 to 2 months. As people on this thread know it really is a guess and things can happen to push the date out further. Once the lathe is finished I hope the guesstimates will be more accurate.

Currently the parting tool is acting up. When I put it in the tool post I got it sticking out to far, which gives it to much leverage. This has been causing chatter and broken inserts and now I am down to my last insert. I am going to realign it and cross my fingers. If it fails I will hand gring a tool and use that to finish the batch. At this point it is hard to say when they will be finished. I would guess next week, but i will know more on Monday.

Not sure what the sooty means and google didnt help...
It was directed toward you, but anyone is welcome chim in. I have to program the tip shapes again. I was thinking why not make a tip styles for a certain device. I used to make these on the wood lathe for the DCT. The tip base diameter would be the same diameter as the top of the device.
I dont think this would work well if you want to use the same tip on multiple devices though.

I like your tips the sizes they've been and the comfort shape is named very very well, imho.

If you have an atty/topper you'd like to match, I'm sure it would be lovely and work on many of the toppers of the day.

A lot of toppers today are flat top and have 22 or 23 mm diameter, where many styles work well. Some popular ones have an extra small bit on top where the drip tip fits. (Nautilus Clearo & Kayfun Rebuildable). The most popular style of tip now seems to be straight sticks and wider and wider cores. They range from really short to really tall.

I don't go for all the trends (especially this one), but other viewers may want these styles from you.
