Added them to the list.

Is the length from the base of the connector (total length0? Or just the part of the tip that shows?
It measures the total length. I think the connector is a little under 1/4 inch.

I added them to the list.

I will not be taking any more tip requests until after the lathe is set up with new tools. This will give me a chance to make sure the new request system works well before the list gets too long. I should have this batch finished by the end of the month. I expect tool set up and making the new cores will take 2-3 weeks.

I finished the programming for tips to fit flush on the top of a device. Here is my DID with a 1 inch hollow core.

How exciting!
I can't wait to see them. I'm not too particular because I'm coming from zero with tips.
All I knew was I have a blue and raspberry istick coming.

Awww, yeah! Might have to bring my DID out of retirement for a tip like that!
That tip had a glorious week of life. It meet its end landing nose first on a concrete floor at work. The entire top end exploded leaving behind the bottom and the core. After this batch I will make a new one in Acrylic Acetate which holds up much better.

I have a love hate relationship with my DID. It saves me lots of time because I can pull out my cotton/stainless wick and dry burn the coil. I normally get a month plus out of a coil. It is extremely durable which is nice for work. The hate part comes in when it gets knocked over on its side and leaks. I wish I knew of a DID that didn't leak and was fast and easy to maintain.

Whorkz any update? Anticipation is high can't wait to see your beauties

Last week was really busy at home and at work. Most of the spare time I got was away from home so I never got to the lathe. When I had spare time I programmed on my laptop. This allowed me to get some of the programming finished so it wasn't a total loss. The requested tips should still be on their way to DV by the end of the month and hopefully a few first come first serve tips.
All of the tools showed up except one package. I have tried emailing and calling them, but they don't respond. Monday I will give up and order them from a different company.

Tomorrow or Wednesday I should have the requested tips finished and will start to post up pictures. Hoping to ship them to DV on Nov 3rd.
I gave up on getting the package and ordered tools from a different company. The tools are back ordered and should arrive in 1-2 weeks. So far this company is much better. They actually called me to let me know and to make sure it would be alright. :)
While I am waiting on tools I will make a small batch for general sale.
