The cheaper and the higher proof the better. Don't go buying Finlandia to clean your coils.

PGA is best, but we can't get it legally in CA. If you can get it Nevada, go for it!

That's what I thought. It varies from state to state.

Pure grain alcohol is a superior cleaner.

Some people use 91% Isopropyl alcohol, but I don't feel comfortable recommending it for coil cleaning. I use it to clean the threads on my batteries and chargers, though.

That's surprising since Reno also has many casinos. I'm don't regularly hunt down alchy, but looks like its a good time to start. If, I find it, I'll let you all know. Watch it cost a pretty penny when or if I do. LOL

hahaha Yes, you are!! We only have one near Parahump, maybe a 2nd one half way between here and Reno. Ours are hidden in the casinos, but shhhhhh know ones suppose to know they are there. LOL

Speaking of backups, make sure you also have a backup charger. The ego chargers seem to quit working sometimes. People tend to forget their charger is just as important as a backup mod

I use Everclear for soaking my stuff in. But I honestly haven't ever had much luck reviving gunked up old coils even with soaking in denture cleaner. To me it just seems there's only so much use you can get out of a disposable product without compromising on flavor loss.

Everclear is what 90pct pure? And yes, sooner or later you have to replace the coil. Looking at PBusardo Vids, recoiling doesn't look that difficult to do. Idk I haven't tried it yet, but the video makes it look easy. LOL

Oh don't be sorry, I really appreciate it. Sometimes, friends have to slow my behind down. I get excited and run all out. LOL I'm taking heed to the warnings and making a list, but prioritizing it so I don't do to much to fast. Starting with what I need to get, so not to go into a panic if one or two of my batteries or tanks go bad, such as a spinner kit, including replacement heads for both the spinner kit and my current set up, cleaners, etc. Next would probably be coil, wick, hunting thru my fathers garage for pliers, etc. lol Then I'll start adding to with various mods. Something in that fashion, so as not to do to much, but making a list so I don't forget all the pieces and parts that I will need.

Sounds like a plan. Get a few things at first, see how you like them play with them, learn how to use them properly. And go from there. If you're getting the Spinner kit, make sure you'll be comfortable with 1300 mAh vv batteries. They are really long. I use 650 mAh vv Twists and they are plenty big. Can you customize that kit at all? Choose the battery capacity?

I wouldn't bother, honestly. Replacement coils are inexpensive and they can be reused many times. Totally not worth it, unless you need a new hobby! True rebuildable atties are a different matter altogether, but it's a bit early for that, IMHO.

More good info! I was doing the Spinner/Twist? Spinner/Twist? Then got sold on the spinner, but I know me, I will end up with a twister eventually as well. The good thing is, anything I don't like, will not go to waste. My sister, her husband and her daughter are avid smokers. So, they will get my hand me downs, if I have to babysit them to get them to stop smoking. ROFL Joke! I can't force anyone, but I can annoy them like crazy, provide them with the tools, and pray!!!!!

Dang, Well that's a relief, that recoiling is not necessary. Glad, that got brought up. LOL I'm still concerned about punching out my own dang carto, thus why I'm starting with the Spinner first. LOL
