I agree that this is a great price. As for your present PV and the clone Vivi Nova always buy Vision (brand) Vivi Nova.
Vision Spinner Tank Combo

I believe your present PV is a smok Tek 3.7 volts PV- 1.7- 2.0 ohms for a warm vape. 2.4 ohms for a cool vape. 2.8 ohms is far too high. Best ohms for the Spinner is either 1.8 or 2.4- 2.4 is good cuz it's allows you to use the higher voltage on the Spinner. I own both Twists and Spinners and prefer the Spinners cuz the dial is much easier to turn and the voltage markings are easy to read.

Just some info but the head on the left is a clone while the one on the right is a Vision brand. Also, in regards to the ohms of the head, if you look closely should be able to see the ohms # stamped on the head- 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 ohms.

Best of Luck.

OMGumballs!! Thanky!! Thanky!! I'm a show me type, so your pictures are incredible. Plus, I'm glad you answered those questions. I didn't know what the difference was between Vision vs Smoktech and you gave me additional knowledge regarding the spinner/twist. There really is a huge difference in reading the voltage setting on the spinner. Looking at all the vendors, they both looked exactly the same to me. I did notice the visions vivi tanks are all out of stock where as the smoktech was not, which kinda gave me a clue that vision was of a better quality. lol Also, thanks for the info on the ohms. I noticed when purchasing replacement heads, you are given 3 choices, and of course, I sat staring at my computer screen, totally dumb founded as to which one I was suppose to get. LMAO!!

Unfortunately right now vendors are out of the genuine Vivi nova heads due to the Chinese New Year. Everyone is waiting anxiously for the vendors to have them available again soon. Right now there seems to be only clones and knockoffs, so don't let a knockoff discourage you from later trying a genuine one. I get mine from gotvapes or myfreedomsmokes, which sell genuine ones when they are available. There's a list you can google that shows the vendors that sell genuine ones somewhere.

Oh! Definitely good to know its due to Chinese New Years and it's not always out of stock. And, thanks for the vendor sites, once again as a noobie, there are vast amounts of vendors, but since I haven't dealt with any yet, I'd have bought one I thought was genuine, only to get a knock off. lol

You're always very welcome Rachel. That's the reason Vision Vivi Nova Tanks were the first sold out item around Chinese New Years. Hope the visit with your Dad went well.

Try running it under hot tap water to loosen it up/ expand the metal part.

Oh, ya, forgot about the hot water...works to open up pickle jars. LOL Hopefully it will work for this! I'd hate to crack my tank, if I don't have to. Pliers..hmm..idk seems like a hit or miss. Either it will open or Ill crack my tank. The hot water idea is more non-evasive!! Thankies!! :)

Thanks!! The visit went well, he got his staples out from having his pace maker put in and they want to test him for sleep apnea. He was hoping to take a shower, but doc says no, we have to wait a bit more. haha Poor guy, hasn't showered in a month, due to hospital stay and surgery. There are Pro's and Con's to everything!! I feel so horrible for him, I want to tear up, but I have to keep a smile on my face at all times. As long as, I show strength and encouragement, he does the same. A large part of me, wants him to get home care, so doctors will come to the house, but like anything, he wouldn't get the quality of care he does by going to them. Walking a few feet from the garage to the inside seat of my truck causes him to literally grasp for air and that's with his oxygen tank and a prior breathing treatment. Its so scary and sad!! I always feel panicked, but I have to put that fake smile on and joke with him, while we idly wait 10 plus minutes for him to regain his breathing. I don't want anyone to have to go through this!! Another reason, I preach to anyone who will listen, in hopes to get others to switch from analogs to vaping. I research this forum and vids like there is no tomorrow, hoping to learn quickly. The quicker I learn, the quicker I can try to help save others from this horror. It's difficult for any of us to sleep, when you don't know, if tonight is the night, he passes!!! I never thought I'd be preaching "stop smoking"....but I sure am now. lol

That's what its called a "tank thread cover"!!!

Good morning! I'm popping in with info about thread covers. I have a couple of silver/chrome ones, but I wanted a black one. I knew there had to be one somewhere. That search turned out to be a bit of a challenge, since the vendor had to also carry something else I wanted because I didn't want to pay postage for just a thread cover. It took me over an hour!

The price may not be the best, but they come in black and the vendors are nice people. (I got type "D" for an eGo/vivi mini nova set-up): eGo Sleeve Cone - The Digital Cig

Good Morning!! :) Oh! You Rock! Once again, you give me info in minutes, that took you hours. Thankies!!!! I actually love the idea of a black thread cover, regardless of price. Sorry, I think you got me down already....I have great eye site, except for reading. Ugh!! Can't even see a price tag, without glasses. I'm starting to get to young in my ole age. ROFL

I saw a video listed on youtube about removing the bottom of a vivi if it was stuck. I have slow internet and it seem to take forever to load. In the end, it was just a young man saying when his vivi was stuck he tried hot water, but it didn't work, so he gently used pliers. Did he demonstrate? No. He didn't even hold a vivi up to the camera. He seemed like nice person though.

Probably cracked his tank. haha Idk, but with my luck, I'll crack mine and since I only have two....I think I'm going to wait until I get more back ups. No way, am I going back to analogs!! Oh gesh, I think I'm even a bit paranoid about my ecigs not working. Watch, I'll end up with several set ups, just for piece of mind. LMAO!!!!!!!

Nothin to it. Right click then "save image as"(for Firefox. IE has same feature) to your desktop. Then start a photobucket account(free) and upload it there. PM me if you need help.

Another bit of info. vivi's are top coil and T3's are bottom coil. Top coils are hotter than bottom coils. So far I've found the bottom coils are more to my liking, but, have yet to find one that didn't leak. Still fiddling with them!

Here is a chart to help with the ohms thing:

He said it worked just fine and made the video to share his experience, which is why I thought it odd he didn't demonstrate what he did. It probably didn't occur to him to do that.

And back-ups! Always back-ups! I also like variety. I still use everything I ever bought, including gas station cig-a-likes.

Aww a Rose! Love it! Thank you! and thank you for all the other goodies. I haven't tried a bottom coil yet, as mine are top, but I hear alot of good reviews. Glad to know they might leak alot. I'm such a noob at putting together pieces and parts. I should video myself doing it, just for others to have a good laugh out of it. It will be comical!!!!!! I know I will be laughing at myself. LMAO!!!

Dang, I bet you have a large variety of a collection going. Gas station cig-a-likes?? The closest I got before this set, was trying a disposable hooka ecig. lmaooooo .... Definitely back ups!!!! I know I will go back to analogs, if my set was to break.....thus my paranoia. Woot! Another rose, Yay! Thank you, didn't realize I could copy the code, as well. Love those icons!! Idk why, but they bring out the child in me. ROFL

Keep in mind, everything with liquid in it has the potential to leak - except the ocean an'stuff. Each one of these little critters has it's own pros, cons and quirks. It's a learning curve - and don't forget: the trash can is your friend. These things are little pieces of plastic that for the most part cost less than a pack of cigarettes. I don't trust them, so I make sure I have enough around to throw away the ones that won't behave.

Funny! I'm glad you mentioned that. Being new, funny meh, I thought, "just buy it and it will work perfectly"!! Not!! I'm slowly getting used to the idea, via everyone's help, that not everything will work, some I can fiddle with and bring back to life, yet there will be a few Ill have to section 8. It's not so frustrating once you come to terms with it all. Glad I learned this part early, or my paranoia would have set in, cuz I wouldn't have thought to get "back ups". lol :)
