hahaha You should see the faces of those when I tell them "I switched from smoking cigs. to smoking something else"! They all think the same thing, some are polite and don't say anything, others have this look on their face that's just priceless. I wait for their response, just for entertainment, then I proceed to explain "vapor" and how I knew what their first thought was. Its flat out hilarious!!!!!!!!!! Even they laugh afterwards, cuz they know they got BUSTED!!!!! haha
My mom was thrilled that I was vaping but kept asking me when I was going to quit. I finally told her probably never and sent her this video. I love this video and Grimm Green is a great reviewer! HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS VAPING THING? - YouTube I never could quit smoking because I loved to smoke. Now at least I can continue without killing myself.
I loved me some smoking. If it wasn't bad for me I'd never have given it a second thought. I have no intentions of giving up vaping... it's delicious
Yea, I love me some smoking too! Lol. I never planned on quitting completely. I thought it would be good to save money and just cut down on my spending on cigs, which got to be so darn expensive. $200 a month is a serious problem for me. Now that I make my own juice and my curiosity in trying a bunch of stuff has died down, it's so cheap to Vape.
You should try NY prices on cigs. Haven't made it to the" make my own" level yet. Being the way I am it would just be obsessive in the pursuit of the perfect liquid. Rather not deal with that just yet. Is it simple? From a family of good cooks, one of my besties is a chef/owner, and I can more than hold my own. So the palate is there. I heard mixing really is a science. This and this doesn't always give you that. Don't get my wheels turning mom...ha... you see one mention and I'm already needing to know everything...

Not because I wouldn't want to quit but cuz I've been doing it since 7th grade, that's more then half my life. Now the habit of smoking has become apart of who I am. I think most people, including some smokers, haven't learned yet or just don't realize, the saying you use when you get into a relationship with another person.... "you can't change a person", is so true. You can't change someone's personality, you have to accept them for who they are. If they have a witty personality, it's cuz that's how they grew up, it's apart of who they are. As weird as it sounds, smoking is apart of who I am and I like "MEH"!!
......Similar to my neighbors who will never stop playing their Spanish music until 3am, howling at the moon, so loud the entire neighborhood can't sleep. 
Dang, I woke up, put a little juice into my tank. Of course, the bottom thread, which refused to come off before.....came off. Dripped juice everywhere!! haha I thought nuuuuuuuuuuu, you can't do this. I'm not awake yet, and I was to lazy yesterday to clean and replace the head on my only other tank. I was so lucky, a little drying with a paper towel, refilled it and yay Vaping away!!!!! hahahahaha Backups! Many Many Backups!!

Thanks everyone for all the great info all in one thread, so grateful to you all! I started reading this on Saturday off and on as I was trying to figure out which new vaping setup I wanted and this thread and you good peeps helped more than anything.
I'm a noob at this, started vaping two weeks ago on a SMOK Tech Designer Swirl battery with the disposable Clearomisers. Enough to get me cut down from 40 analogs to 10 or less analogs a day for now, but it doesn't seem to be enough. Constantly wanting to vape and not getting a good throat hit much and the flavor is hard to taste. I spent the last week obsessed and wanting to learn more and wanting new shiny gear lol
Wish I had found this thread a week ago, but still you guys and gals STILL saved me a lot of money and time I believe :cheers:
I'm going with the Pink Vision brand Spinner VV 1300mah, a Vision Mini Nova and ViVi Nova and an acrylic swirl purple Ming Vase drip tip ...that I hope fits these tanks?
OH for those of you looking for the Vision Vivi Nova's, I saw smoktek.com has some in stock, not sure if they have clear or not. I got the purple and a pink one

Hi - the vivis will take any 510 drip tip. That's what most of the mings are.

I have a question.....will I need to calculate ohms and know what voltage to dial in if I'm using the coil heads that come with the Vivi novas?? Or can I just try every voltage on the dial and be safe?? Trying to wrap my noob head around this

My recommendations is to start low, especially with the vivis--some folks have experienced problems at higher wattages. Please use the Ohm's calculator I linked earlier.
Do you know the resistance of the coils in your vivis? If you do, just plug in the numbers (the voltage and resistance) and you'll get your wattage.

Saving my money up for Evic or something similar/better. Knew I would need something I can carry out of the house with me easily, thus the Spinner, and have it for a back up down the road. Afraid of dropping something expensive and breaking it though. Just working my way up to the big guys

You don't need a vw device, trust me. I know a number of 3- 4-year ECF vets who use and love their eGos (having tried all kinds of mods along the way; I'm one of them
). I'm not saying here that mods are bad--some of them are fantastic! I had a chance to play with a mini ProVari for a day--great device! But I don't need it; it was too bulky and too gadgety for my taste. I know my volts and my watts already and I'm perfectly happy with my small Twists and Spinners. Don't worry too much about your ideal wattage; it will change with time and the kind of juice you use. You'll figure it all out in no time, once you hold the battery in your hand. If your vivis come with a 2.4 coil, start at 3.4-3.6v on your battery (that combo will put you between 4.7-5 watts) and see how you like it. If it's too cool, just increase the voltage gradually.

got vapes sold me mine, which was basically 2 eGo t's, 2 stardusts, a charger and case. There was a 20 minute video to watch about how to set it up. not bad
Hi Diana and welcome to ECF! Watching videos is the best way to learn. Every popular device has been thoroughly reviewed and demonstrated on Youtube. I highly recommend watching pbusardo videos.
That said, some of those videos are not very good, so stick to the trusted and reliable reviewers.
Grimm green also is a good reviewer and I love PBusardo also, as was previously mentioned. Someone also asked in this thread for the link to the pretty pink ladies mods. Here it is. ................What kind of fluid do you like ?, The coarse or smooth varieties ?. And what flavours are your favourite ?.
Personally i use 100% vg all the time. My favourite is menthol. Such a cool vape !.
