So I'm finally pulling the trigger and buying a mod. I've been using an ego passthru for 5 months and it's time to experience high voltage vaping. My wife is buying me an anniversary present (Today is 1 year for us) and thats what I get. Now here's the problem:

I want a vari-voltage device (don't care what style) that is durable with batteries, charger, etc for upto $120 but i'm extremely impatient. I want it yesterday! I was about to settle on the infinity from notcigs and then i saw 1 week wait time. Should I just be patient? Can you make some suggestions? Anything else i should be looking at? juice feed is not important but is a plus. The only thing is i want the VV and want it quick! Thanks for the help. Love this place. I'm a vaper for life!

I was going to suggest the Darwin or Provari but not for $120. Although with the Darwin the batteries are built in, so you don't have to spend extra for 4 batteries and a charger. It's a $100 over your budget, but it is the most technologically advanced VV PV on the market. And all of the better ones seem to have some "wait" time for ordering/receiving. The Infinity sounds like a good option in your price range.

I pulled the trigger and went with the VV Big brother. I was gonna do the lil sister but that's too small and not enough battery life. I hope i made a good choice. Any suggestions on taking care of it? Do's and do not's? Ken seems like a nice guy btw

spare parts! lol.

Maintenance should not be much different than any other ecig but it sucks to have your one and only charger die on you. Extra batteries and atties/cartos are talked about all the time but rarely does anyone mention having multiple chargers. A bad charger can give fits of frustration especially if you don't have a spare.

I have 2 ego passthroughs and a boat load of cartos (and a few extra attys). I got 4 batteries and 1 charger. Do the chargers go dead often?

not often, but when they do........I have lost 1 of 4 of my ego chargers in about 7 months. Having an extra charger definitelty doesn't hurt. Plus I can leave one in the car, house, work, etc and don't have to worry about remembering to take it with me. I would hate to have to hope my spare batteries could carry me through until I could place an order and stand by stalking the mailman for several days.

I would suggest getting a Silver Bullet from AltSmoke. I realize that this is not a "conventional" VV device, but if you don't already know, you can either use 3.7v batts or you can stack two RCR2123A (3volt) batteries for a 6 volt vaping experience. You should read up before attempting so stack those batteries, though. They are safer that normal CR2's however. I think it costs around $80 for the silver bullet. Hope I helped!

I have not tried all the mods but today is my birthday so i ordered a provari last Friday May 24 and received it Thursday fast shipping an excellent service provape.com. It has made all my juices come alive. Wish i had did this when I started vaping instead of trying every thing else. would have spent a whole lot less money and would have had the best vaping experience I have had in the last five months hope your experience is as good with your new toy.

The mailman brought my Big Brother today...however I'm not home to get it :( Hopefully when I get home from work it'll be waiting for me. I also ordered a liteomizer (led clearomizer that might not suck since it's already modded), a dripper and some extra attys. I'll update you guys at 3am hopefully since I'm sure I'll be vaping all damn night LOL

Ok got my Big Brother. Charged the batteries. Threw on a 2.5 ohm atty. Nice solid vape. I had a feeling high voltage was gonna give me clouds of vapor and a massive throat hit but not so much on the atty. I switched to one of the boge cartomizers (the ones I use on the ego) cranked up the voltage and WOW! What a hit! So much vapor! Such a diff in throat hit! The flavor explodes! The only thing i'm worried about is if the ohm rating is too low on the carto. Can it blow out? Is it dangerous? It's exactly what I was looking for but don't know if I'm over doing it. The construction on this Mod is excellent. Ken gives amazing tech support. The batteries charge quick and I couldn't be happier. If I can just find out if a 2.0 ohm or 2.5 ohm carto is good at top voltage I'm set! Thank you Ken!
