I have multiple set ups all running 32 awg kanthal but the 30 is the only one that doesn't fire, I'm still new to this so if more info is requird please feel free to ask anything

What is the resistance of the coil?

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot it measured out at 0Ω.

You must have a short somewhere. Make sure the coil isn't touching either post or the base of the atty.

30 awg will give you less resistance than 32. That is probably taking you under what the Lambo supports. I don't know the Lambo so I can't give you numbers, but Google is your friend for this :thumb:

Ok so I just wrapped two different coils, first with the 30awg five wraps even spaced, checked both posts, hooked it all up still giving a 0.0 reading. Second coil 32awg four wraps installed is running at 1.2 ohms. Could there be anything wrong with the wire itself?

Try 8 or 10 wraps with 30G, it will fire!

Most likely from your description of your coils with 30 and 32, you're just wrapping too low of ohms for it to read. Google the kanthal resistance chart, and divide ohms per foot by 12 for a base line resistance per inch of wire, I know 30AWG varies between 8.36 and 9 something per foot. then once it's hooked up measure it and see if it's too high or low then subtract the amount that it's too high by from the total length. A calculator and ruler can get you fairly accurate. And then you'll know for future references how long to make it for such amount of ohms.
