PLEASE! STOP! with the term " taste is subjective"!

I could be the only one with this gripe but i cannot stand when somebody reviews a e juice and the last thing they need to point out every time is " taste is subjective". Like as we all know it was pbusardo that made that term popular and that is fine for him to say it because that's his thing. He has probably reviewed more juices than 99% of vapers have ever even seen. So in turn why does everyone that ever reviews a juice need to remind you that "taste is subjective". EVERYTHING IS SUBJECTIVE! smell is subjective, sight is subjective, feel is subjective, almost everything tiny little thing about vaping is subjective, LIFE IS SUBJECTIVE!!! maybe im looking into this too much but it seems to turn everyone into a master reviewer. You either liked something or you didn't like it that's all that needs to be said and when someone tells you they didn't like something you liked you don't need to say.. " well taste is subjective". THANKS TIPS! i was unaware we are all different and like different things!! How many people drink wine... TONS! and how many expert wine tasters are their out there... not a whole friggin' lot. So why does every human being need to be an expert on cloud production, throat hit, how many notes a juice has... The answer is we don't... The reviewing system on websites is so flawed. Every juice you look at has 4 to 5 stars because only the people who really love it are taking their time to give it 5 stars and only people who hate it are giving the time to give it 1 star and ..... about how bad it was. OHH!.. and something even better thing is someone telling other people you need to steep it! When i order a juice and i get it in the mail im going to pull that sucker out and vape it! Not stare at it for 2 weeks and hope the flavor profile is enhanced from the oh so scientific breathing and sit in a dark place method. My point is it shouldn't be our responsibility to steep juices, it's up to the companies who you give your hard earned money to for a bottle of e liquid for it to have FLAVOR! I never bought a pack of cigarettes or cigars and said OHH! im going to let you sit my dark cupboard and in 1 month you will taste 10 times better. We need to let juice companies know that when i took it out of the box it didn't taste good and if they tell you, you need to let the flavors steep... you say give me my money back. If i wanted to manage the flavor and mix it myself I wouldn't be paying you to do it for me. So when it comes down to it don't let others opinions stop you from purchasing whatever you want... support your local B&M's and TRY THINGS OUT in your hands, in your lungs, in front of your eyes, talk to a real face! If there is something you want to look at ask them to order it in so you can try it out... give it a try it might just work... im sure you will be much happier.

OH BABY!...The forum vent is real today... what are some things that bug you guys about forums/reviewing/ or just vaping in general?? LET IT OUT!

P.S. if all that fails put your faith in the godfather/OG GrimGreen he will never lead you astray.

1. If I told someone that a particular juice was delicious, and they hated it, I'd feel guilty. So "taste is subjective" is a disclaimer which basically means, "if you hate this juice, don't blame me."
2. If companies sent me free stuff and I hated their product, I would want to tell the person watching the review that I didn't like the product without discouraging other companies from sending me free stuff. "Taste is subjective" is a better way of doing that then saying, "this is the worst juice I've ever tasted. Don't buy it."

I read your rant and it seems (if I read between the lines correctly) that you want to be able to purchase only e-juice you like. By my experience there is only two ways to do this - try before you buy (which requires a trip to a brick and mortar with a taste bar) or if you want something done right, do it yourself (DIY your own e-juice). I just added a couple of drops of concentrated flavoring to directly to my tank because I was in the mood for a little more flavor - it doesn't have to steep, the effect is almost instant. I do mix my PG/VG/Nic mixtures well (with a dremel tool) but most simple flavors will mix in right away and that's the only way I am able to get juice I like the taste of but then taste is subjective :)

I am with you on the steeping. When I buy a juice it should be ready to rock at my doorstep. My closet shouldn't be their warehouse space. I will simply mix my own or go to a B&M where i can try and buy.

I make sure I let all the vape shots I frequent know what I am looking for. The ones that listen I go back to. I am willing to pay more on some things to have product in hand. One of my local shops really stands behind their products. So I spend more of my cash there.

To be fare to the OP you would not buy a flavoured juice unless it is a flavour of food you like and the term taste is subjective isn't much help to someone looking for a straight answer, its either good and full of flavour or it sucks

Steeping is something I accept now as I get my juice made fresh with a manufacture date and as its organic, advice on when it will start to degrade [1yr]

As for b&m's like any other type of store I don't like being fed male cows dung to try and sell me something to cover that months rent/targets so I sooner do my research on the product I want and then the buy at the best price be it online or b&m

I have found at great cost that the best tank is subjective but no one bovver's to mention that

But then at the end of the day if I don't want opinions and product's or juice that don't meet what I am looking for, there's always DIY

Make my own juice

Make my own mods/mechs

Make n wick my own coils

And drip that perfect home made juice at the correct quantity

And all in good time I will and find satisfaction or only have myself to blame

What I wont do is blame someone else or whinge because they are doing their best to give me FREE advice along with their Valuable time they will never get back

Ooops maybe I need more nic now too
