Pluid--What just happened?

I received a large order of Mad Murdock's juices the other day, including 120 ml (4 x 30ml) of Pluid. I was sure that I would love this juice. And, at first vape, I absolutely hated it. It was like inhaling every cough drop I'd ever sucked on all at once with licorice sticks up my nose. I was cussing myself for spending so much on this green poison, so I went back to my Bobas and sulked. However, such was my monetary investment that I occasionally returned to it, trying a vape here and there.

And then a miracle occurred. At first, I hated it less,and the lessening of hatred gave way to craving. Now I enjoy and almost love this juice, only three days in. How on Earth did that happen? I suspect that this is not a completely unheard of reaction to Mad Murdock's bizarre masterpiece.

It might be one of those flavors that takes a little time to come together, especially if they mix it to order. Boba's Bounty was that way for me, when I first got it in the mail I thought it smelled and tasted awful. Four or five days later I was running out of juice options and went back to it; since then I have had it in a tank of some sort at all times.

I've had similar experiences with juice from other vendors as well.

Juices typically need time to steep. Some are good straight from the mailbox, some take a few days to mature, and some take up to 2 months before they reach full potential. Each juice is different, as is each vaper.

Also, great expectations can lead to great disappointment. I would never ever buy 120ml of juice that I have never tasted. I don't care how good everyone else thinks it is.

I believe that people can and do "teach" themselves to like just about anything. Think about this....we all somehow came to love the taste of our cigarettes didn't we? But they taste like crap, I know it, you know it, but we learned to love it!

For your healths sake, ask the creator if he vapes his own products at all. I heard from a little bird that the juice is so toxic that the maker doesnt even vape his own stuff and knows it.

Yeah it's really toxic, it's full of nicotine, a known toxin.

This type of post shouldn't even be allowed here on ECF, I'm most disappointed. If you want to bash a product, do it right. Bring up legitimate factual issues with the product, not random baseless attacks.

I'm pretty sure MM vapes Pluid. AFAIK that's why it only came in 20mg strength for so long, because that's what he vapes. But then again, what would be the point in asking him? You make a baseless accusation that he knows his product is toxic and sells it anyway, why would you think he'd be honest about what he vapes?

How utterly ridiculous, I think I'm about done with ECF, too much of this bull.

Did this little bird take into account the fact that liberty flights tested the contents of pluid before putting it up for sale on their site?

While many love it....I personally am impartial to it....I have some....it's not my main vape. It's not bad its just I have other preferences. I'm happy you love it now.

There will be accusations or bad guiding all right. In a country with people stuck to TV and assume whatever given by TV is right. Even the government always wants the wellfare of citizens belief would create people like this. I dont tell these to Americans I tell this for my country. There are a lot of people thinking vaping is more dangerous than smoking. This is funny even in its quantity of materials.

Tasted like I had vaped a Twizzler or a black jelly bean.

I get mine from VapingWatch. IIRC, I think they're the only US distributor of the stuff (?).

This is how I feel about it. It does grow on you. I personally would prefer to vape this than Boba's, so that shows the differences in subjectivity for flavors.

Having said that, once mine is finished I have no plans to order more.

Not for me.

I used to love anise flavors when I was a kid, then had a run-in with a bottle of Sambuca in college. 20 years later and the smell of black licorice still makes me gag.
