At least i caught this in the description:

"Popular Pontus rda Is temporarily Sold Out! Next Batch Will Be Version 1.5 and Will Arrive Approx September 2-5, 2014. Stay Tuned!"

Haha dang, I just ordered mine the other day, supposed to get it Friday, hopefully the 1.5 isn't a major upgrade

Curious to see what the changes are too. I'm not finding any cons other than size of this tank (preference). It is huge though. Looks like a monster even on my tiny 4nine in 18650. A little top heavy in smaller modes.

As far as performance it vapes just like a tobh to me but with a cooler vapor. Expected since there's the long tube section for vapor to pass. Nothing special as far as rda's go but better all around than many tank systems out there. All in all this is a solid 3 post rda I think cloud chasers will love. Good for driving but lacks the portability I want for the pocket. I'm hoping this is the beginning of more dripping tank rda's. Perhaps something designed with a smaller chamber for a warmer condensed vape for us flavor chasers. IE; a neovapetek venturi with a dripping tank.

This thing is by far the best tank system I've used (Ithaka clone, Fogger v4, Taifun GT clone -- have not tried my kaiser yet). You may have to push the drip tip every now and then, but it's much more convenient than all the messing around you have to do with regular tanks to get them to wick properly. Hits and tastes better than any other tank too, and refilling is a breeze. I like it enough that I am thinking about ordering a second one so I always have one available, and I have yet to do that with any RBA.

Yeah i'm with you there. The only thing i really want is a nano version... and maybe a dual holed "t-post" styled positive pin like the helios or plume veil. Thing is really the perfect out and about tank for dripper fans. I just shut the air holes off with a twist and dont have to worry about any sort of leaks whatsoever.

just got mine in today.. cleaned it with warm water and dish soap and loaded up some ahlusion blueberry vanilla cake 70/30. started vaping and popped off the tank to check for leaks after a few pulls... and leaking like crazy. thought it was through the tiny hole so i rested it upside down on the drip tip (switched it out to wide bore) and left it alone while i did other things and when i picked it up there's a puddle of juice on my desk. turns out it's not leaking through the tiny hole but somewhere else. might be an oring or something, haven't checked into it yet as it just happened.. tons of spitback with it too.

Oh damn! Yeah, you have something that's defective there... mine's been completely leak free for 10+ tanks of juice. From 80%Pg to 90%Vg. Spitback is tricky... That can just be from a build with too little cotton... or a flooded deck (most likely in your case with leaking).

@Pizza: I emailed EH Pro regarding the 1.5 revision and havent heard anything back. WIll post when/if i do.

snow - does your have a screw or something to block the bigger hole?

thinking of grabbing a 2nd from 101

Yeah it comes with a screw in what is supposedly the "fill hole". I just unscrew the atomizer cap/tank base portion with that hole and fill and screw back on. Much quicker. But it's nice to have the screw fill hole as an option. I'd pick up a second if they made a shorter half capacity tank. or just shortened up that top-most cap portion. Only negative so far is it's too awkward/top-heavy in any 18350 device.

Make sure all of the o-rings are seated properly.

Thanks snow... please let me know if you do. I just heard bad from an Ehpro rep and she says they don't know as the engineers are still working on it. So... I don't know if she just doesn't know what's going on or if somebody just heard that one was coming out and they really haven't decided what the changes are going to be yet. If true, it may be a while. I think I'll go ahead and pick one up.

Yeah for $40 you really cant go wrong! It's the prefect in the car atty! Just be warned it will take a few tanks worth to figure out how much to drip etc. I find i can even do "half-drips" by not fully depressing the plunger and i do that every other hit after a fully saturated wick at .5ohm dual 26g in cotton.

It's weird. It ONLY leaks when I'm vaping. If I seal it off with he palm off my hand so only the airflow holes are open, and take some dry pulls I get no leaks. And I've pulled hard as I can consecutively to see if I could get it to leak. Also noticed that, when looking from underneath and I press to drip, a larger amount of liquid will come in through the longer inner channel than through the tiny hole.. Can't remember if there was an oring there but I think those parts just screwed together.

I have been running mine for about 24 hours now. I have run 40/60 and 50/50 juice through it with no leaking issues with either. It's easy as heck to build and does give a cool yet flavorful vape but not as good of flavor as my magma.
Just a couple of things I would like to see changed. I would like to see a stainless or plastic tank section come with it rather than two glass sections. Just something more durable than glass since I do see this as an "on the go" dripper. I would also like to see a locking mechanism on the tank as well as one for the dripping plunger. I found when carrying it in my jeans pocket some times the tank will separate from the base and some time I will bump the plunger causing it to drip.
Overall its a great system and I would advise anyone on the fence to buy one. With a couple of refinements it really could be a "kayfun killer" as I have heard it described. At the moment though I just don't trust throwing it in a pocket or bag like I do my kayfun.

All manufacturers should give options as far as the window is concerned. I want real glass the most since I crack plastic (the Aji Lemon Pepper in one of my favorite juices will pretty much ensure that I crack any plastic tank, and I've also used juice mixed with white habanero) and have never broken a glass tank.

The locking mechanisms would be cool.
