Ok so it looks like that hole is actually threaded and comes with a screw! Actually a better design than the Big Dripper. Supposedly it doesn't leak at all with even a 60/40 pg/vg with the intended screw. I wonder if initial reviewers thought it was a replacement screw for one of the posts and that's why nobody installed it where it's supposed to go lol.

Excellent info snow! Faith in EHPro restored! ;)

We'll see! I plan on trying it on a variety of atomizers and seeing where it fits. Ideally it will allow me to pick up one of my mods with a built atty on it... Pop the top cap off... Slap this on... And head out of the house without a bottle of juice. Really promising if it turns out well!

I'm glad I saw this thread. I passed on the Pontus after seeing Showza's video about it leaking with lower VG juice. Now what to do with that EHPRO logo hah...

The 3D is a bottom "flooding" RDA... Where the Pontus is a top "Dripping" RDA. Similar in result but very different in execution.

My apologies! There was another device, t100 or something of that nature, that worked similar to this, only instead of pushing the drip tip you twisted off the top cap a little bit. Nice to see someone has perfected (or at least we will see) the design.

I'd say the Big dripper is a better design because you don't have a silly screw to fill with. Both have a small hole for juice so they're equivalent there. I'd trust the steel quality on the big driper more than the china construction. Not to mention you don't have to worry about a glass tank breaking.

No worries at all man! I just had a bad experience with that damn 3D lol. Was a great early step to an auto dripper... Just from the wrong end haha! But if this Pontus is all it is supposed to be... Then us drip guys are in for a treat!

Have you seen what a PITA it is to fill the BD to it's 5ml max? 3mls is no problem, but I doubt anyone will go through that crap to actually FILL it. I'd much rather have to "deal" with the screw on the Pontus.

Cool name, btw! I have an Equinox P229R in .357SIG.
SIGSauer for the win! :2cool:

Exactly this! It's a fn magic act filling the Big Dripper lol. The simplicity of the Pontus is awesome. Pop top cap off, unscrew and fill, screw and pop back on. You could also fill it just like the Big Dripper if you like.

And the quartz glass tank is a hit or miss for some. I personally love glass tanks. I want to see my juice level.

Regarding the "china construction", EHPro is actually one of the better manufacturers and generally produce good quality stuff. Infinite have also been really stepping up their game recently. Not all Chinese manufacturers are bad. I would much rather have a glass tank so I can see how much juice is in there and when I need to refill it. Also glass will be able to handle any tank cracker juices that don't play well with plastic tanks.

Yeah i'm so done with polymer/plastic tanks. Just cracked another KFL clear tank section with a new juice that i had no idea was a tank cracker. Grrr ... annoying!

I second the build quality point. There are some really, really nice pieces coming out of China! Hell, the Infinite Magma clone is nicer than the Paradigm's official Magma RDA! Both Infinite and EHpro are making some really nice non-clone atomizers now that are of the same quality as a lot of the $100.00+ USA turned attys. Of course there is come complete garbage being manufactured there but you can't catagorize an atty as lower quality just from the country of origin.

That's like saying "Id trust that car brand less because it's American rather than German or Japanese." That all said, i do get what you're saying Duro.

Also - Colt before SIG every day :p

Building is easy of course, filling liquid is super awesome because its similar to clearomizers, dripping 90% VG is awesome, the top button is easy to press, using the small hole I got no leakage (the large one screwed) flavor is similar to the TOBH and vapor production is a bit less than TOBH because of the tight chamber in compare to drippers, only issue I have is small gurgling from the chamber. All in all great atty (havent tried with 50/50 mix yet).

Update: 60% VG still works great for me, no leaking and it looks like 2 presses are enough to soak my wicks (with 90% I needed 3).
