Journalism is in such a sad state today. "Cause"? Really? Some liquids contain compounds that are thought to be associated with popcorn lung. Cigarette smoke contains the same compounds at levels higher than most (but not all) e-liquids. Yes, I avoid flavors containing these compounds. I also think that e-liquid manufacturers have a moral obligation to test for and disclose the levels of these compounds in their products. Testing costs less than $200. But to write a story with a headline claiming that e-cigs cause this is yellow journalism at best, because no case of it has ever been attributed to vaping.

Someone in one of my facebook groups posted this:
Warning: E-Cigarettes Cause Incurable Lung Disease (That’s NOT Cancer)

Does anyone have any info or other studies? I heard of this but am wondering if/how we are safe? I know suicide bunny and others had some issues because of this kind of thing.
One of the things I was thinking about going into DIY was this hype about flavoring. My latest mix is 49% PG, 49% VG, 1.2% nic, .8% flavoring and it tastes fine and the flavor is one from a company that claims to be keeping Di out of it's products. The pre mix companies tend to use too much flavoring. I have a left over 240 ml bottle of pre mix and have been cutting it 3 parts unflavored to 1 part pre mix and it is fine too.

At the end of the day, where are the reports of doctors treating illnesses caused by using ecigs?
