Possible divorce ban in CA

I can't believe this, this man got the signatures he needed and is trying to ban divorces in CA....

My thought:
People divorce people for a REASON.... what if your in a abusive relationship with that person? I don't agree with it at all.

honestly, if this becomes a law I don't think I ever would get married.

I would rather be happy with someone for years to see if things turn out then to be bonded by them with a possibly of the relationship going bad... yet you can't get out of it.

I do agree with the fact yes, you should marry someone wisely, but I don't agree with being completely tied down even if things go wrong.

if you do read all of the articles you linked closely though you will see that basically the guy is using his "cause" to make a statement about the bans on gay marriage.

The list goes on and on! I hate it here in California!People used to move here in droves, now they are leaving,taxes on everything to high! The state of California is broke! I want out of this stupid place,but I was raised here,and can not leave mom and dad. The liberals have ruined California, and what ever state the liberals land in they will ruin.

He is not serious, but this is a great example of how to use the media to bring attention to your cause. Maybe we could do something like this if a ban kicks in, start a ban coffee crusade or something.
