I don’t know about powdery because I have a hard time describing flavors and their specific nuances. But ethyl maltol adds mouthfeel to my mixes. I have the powder and just add a pinch of crystals because if you over do it you’ll mute the mix and a lot of flavors have EM already in them. Another additive that is supposed to add mouthfeel is malic & citus acids also called sour or tart. I haven’t messed with this too much and have nothing to add other then some claim it helps add mouthfeel.
