Fear of what I read when I started vaping. I read that a pass through could damage a mother board.Since my computer is about 6 months old as of the post, I did not want to take any chances.
I tried a couple of wall chargers I have here. Noting, not even a puff. So I used a powered usb hub. It did not do well.
Finally broke down and ordered Vapor King Wall USB Adapter. It was a little bigger than I excepted. The two blue lights on it , will give a person the filling of being watched.
I believe the carts I am using is 2.6 ohms horizonal coil with my own juice. The vapor is great and smooth.
Now I just have to keep track better so I don't burn the cart. I would recommend any one using a pass through to pruchase one.
The difference is noticable. Thanks V4L. now with more options than ever, might have to set up direct depotist to you LOL.

Sorry for all those grammer and English freaks. Never has been a strong point of mine.

Lol! I've used my PT on my computer for quite a while and never had a problem. I read they same things, I just hoped it wouldn't damage anything. Now that V4L sells the adapter I got one, but that was also so I could hook it up to the wall and vape on my PT on the couch or in bed! I even "aquired" some 10' USB extenders so I didn't have to be right next to a plug :) I love my PT!!

You saved a few bucks, and they can be used for other stuff too. Due to an ordering snafu, I ended up with 4 big ones and 2 slim ones. Wish I could figure out what kind of tape to put over the lights so that they can still be seen glowing, but not with those piercing beams. Maybe just a strip of white printer paper, and some clear packing tape.

BEEFENHAUZER sir all comes down to amperage. USB 2.0 ports are rated at 500ma standard, they can be rated as high as 2a, but even if they are still don't suggest using them. I can give you every technical reason why you shouldn't, but the easiest explanation is what's cheaper to replace, a $10-20 wall wart rated for 2a+, or your xbox, mobo, psu, etc. depending on what you're running it on?
