That would be great. I never bought a provari or darwin, because they are limited to 2.5 amps. But for the price the lavatube, or VV power like it is called also, I will use it with this same limitation for my other stuff.

I most like DC cartos, and am awaiting some DC attys from COV. I like the 1.5 Ohms at 4-4.5 Volts. Use them at some VV box mods I have, who can put out the amps needed.

Hopefully the Lavatubes go a little over the 2.5 amp. spec, then I could use them also for DC´s.

Edit:
Got a mesage stating that the Darwin is limited at 6 amps, and looked at some other posts. where was statet that the problem with the Darwin is that it can see a too low Ohm atty as a short and then doesn´t fire.

So I apologize to the makers and sellers of the Darwin.

Where I said there was a problem with the amp limit, I should have said, there is a problem with the Ohm limit.

I pre-ordered in Spain too, since there were none left to pre-order in Portugal, just the body for 36,50 €. It's been a huge success so far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll work just great. The thing is I refuse to spend all the money they ask for a Provari or an Apex or a Darwin, for instance. Thery're just too overpriced. Since this is made in China (like most PVs, let's face it) by L-Rider and I trust L-Rider to deliver a very nice PV instead of going down the drain, I'm pretty confident and anxiously waiting for the end of the month/beginning of October the most to get my hands on it and know I (like so many, many more) haven't at all been cheated. I believe this may be a great turn. And, yes, there's a final design, at least at this point and it looks very nice. :)

This mod 18650 based VV for 35-40€ will if it works well be a game changer. At this time even simple 3.7 volt 18650 mods are often more expensive. On the VV mods, not even the madvapes linear regulator 14500 based is any cheaper. So this could mix up the whole modder market.

I dont think buzz, provari darwin or alike will be afected. Their products are bought by people who are looking for a high end mod, or for estetical reasons buy them.
The mid market will be afected, because here many of the mods moving, have simular or worse specs, at higher prices.
The entrance market will be very afected, I dont see the modders offering VV mod boxes hold up at these prices.

Then I also must say, mod boxes VV still will be bought by people like me, who wants a mod delivering huge power, no matter how it looks, firing at anything you might throw at it. IMHO.
