What I have been reading a while ago, but dont know if this is correct, is that volcano has exclusivity for the US market, and L-Rider with his VV power delivers to the rest of the world. Both are 100% the same devices, just rebranded for the US market as Lavatube by Volcano. So US citizens will have to get a lavatube at the conditions of volcano, or will have to order elsewhere to get a VV power. Can somebody confirm this?
As for volcanos lavatube, AFAIK 15 November. The factory in China has serious problems to produce the high demand in Europe for their tube.
Here in Spain, at the Spanish forum, the people who got theirs are more then happy with the tube. The coments are it is very sturdy, nice looking and feeling, bottons with a click you can feel, impressed by the huge power it is delivering, and happyly surprised that when amp protection kicks in, it doesn´t turn off, like others do, but just selects by itself the highest voltage that can be deliverd at 2.67 amps.
So DC 1.5 Ohm cartos are also working perfectly well at the tube. That was my personal main concern.

I wouldn´t pay 112$, Even Volcano sells the bundle for 99$, and the vendors in Europe and the UK are selling both, bundles or body only.
Bundles are hard to compare, because they are different. but a body only should be around 60$.

I've just watched a Portuguese review, quickly made alright, but thorough, and it all sounds just amazing. Nice for those of us who had the patience and waited. On the other hand, some people are saying it has nice space for the IMR and for flat tops and I have a pair of AW IC 18650 protected at 2200 mah. I still trust them though - I remember when the tube started to be talked they widely mentioned the AW protected 2900 mah.
