Just checked in to see how Mary is doing and am glad to see that it seems she is home. Hugs & wishes for a speedy recovery Mary.

I just found this thread. I'm the original poster for Mary...she's my neighbor & bestie...and thought I would send the latest update. Yes, she is home; came home last Wednesday evening. She's been having a lot of back pain..all the blood settled in her spine and she's been more than miserable from that. She's also having to deal with a screwed up back from last year's injury from her former position as a HHA. She's been trying to wean herself off of the stronger pain meds onto something less potent; process has been very difficult, due to her pain level.
I know she appreciates all the prayers and thoughts during the past few weeks. Please keep them going for her, as this recovery isn't an easy time. Hopefully, she'll be back on her feet SOON, and be back on here.
Thanks so much, and I'll try to post as things progress.

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry I did not know about this thread until my husband pointed it out to me today.

I cannot thank you all enough! I know it was all the thoughts and prayers that got me where I am right now.

I am better I still get headaches from time to time but that is to be expected. I had to turn my screen to a dark background so that I can be on the computer more now which means PIF I am coming back! hehe....Still have the ugly scar that will never grow hair there lol but at least it's healed now.....Went through a awful battle with it not wanting to heal and being infected.......It has been a rough recovery but I am much better and as matter of fact I go back to my neurosurgeon on the 28th and hopefully I will be released then .



I want to apologize again if I had known about this thread I would have posted sooner!
