Not sure where to ask this, but it is ecig related. I was wondering if any of you use one of these for your online ecig purchases rather than a regular credit card. What are the ones you are using. Looking for the best rates and fees, easiest to load, and best security. Thanks for any input on this.

For what you're looking for maybe check out the Wal-Mart "money card" costs $3 to put funds on it, $3 per month (I think this is correct) load it up when you need to with no more than you want if it's compromised crooks very limited to what they can get. I'm not sure I am understanding what you're looking for but if I do this looks to me as an option?

I do a lot of my orders online with amex and visa giftcards. Sometimes you just have to look on the back to see if you have to register the card on some website before using it for online purchases. I haven't had any problems ordering from HECS, CCV, madvapes, Gotvape and Smoketech so far so I doubt that there would be an issue with other vendors. Just make sure you have enough on your card because if you don't the card will be "declined".

Just thinking  I could use the debit card as a CC, but I've heard that shouldn't be done on line. That would certainaly be the easiest.

I have used one with only a minor hiccup.

Go to the pre-paid site to see if you need to enter your info (addy) and activate it. I boned it up since I am in apartment #30, and typoed 330 instead. Think it was Parkes Vaping that my order had a problem. The lady there (think it was Mary, but my memory sucks) said the most common error for a declined card was a mess up in the shipping address. Problem was solved real quick when I went back and saw the apartment number was wrong.

Shouldn't be a problem using the pre-paid CCs. I think the one I got from the dollar store down the street from me is re loadable but I haven't tried to put more money on it yet.

Not that a reputable vendor will rip you off but there might be some hacked code (anywhere on the net between your computer, the vendor, the CC processor, et al). Better to loose a $100 on a pre-pay than to have someone get access to your whole bank account.

I have a pre-paid Visa gift card I got from my bank. It has my name on it, an expiration date and it uses my address as a billing address just like a regular cc, except it is completely pre-paid. I can do one balance inquiry and one deposit a month for free, then it is $3 each additional inquiry or deposit. There are no other fees to use it, so if I just load it up once a month, it is free for me to use. I've been using it for online purchases for over 5 years and have never had a problem.
