Pre-vet workshop thread

I helped Uncle setup his contest which is why he PMed me but thought I needed to pass this part along.
appreciate that there will be some one there to walk me through the process especially since I will propably need the help
Anyway - as an update - I do not want to make it hard on people and since I have the contest going with "Quotes" - anything "GAY" related and of course within ECF TOS Rules & policy would be great for the "Party" . . .

I guess I've been out of it and not following along. So... where's the documentation on loxy's info and thread and stuffis? I thought if it wasn't on the 1st list post, it was somewhere else. But I can't find it. So if there's a link or something... I need to subscribe to it. And if it's this thread, it's too hard for me to reconstruct the conversation tonight (tired).

atty - loxy requested the theme way back before we took the 2yr vets off our list. his wife is supposed to start his thread in vip.
the only one left on that list is cozzicon on 6-19

After much consideration it seems time for us to leave prevets. This is in no way connected to Whiskey's 3-day stay in the Sin Bin but rather to the remarks and actions of a certain member during the aftermath.
The joy of welcoming new vets has gone and the pressure of attending each and every prevet's turning due to the imposed contest rules are no longer acceptable to us.
We will honor our commitments as thread starters and will join the celebration of our friends in PVT whenever possible.
We hope for PVT's continued success and extend our best wishes to whomever will carry this forward.
The lists will stay up as long as necessary to ensure an orderly transition.

I have to say I'm really saddened. I sure don't want to be in the middle of "office politics". Hope it blows over. IDK if it will.
However, I think we as a group will need to make sure we transition the whole thing over properly. I'd like to suggest to the group to consider making the whole PVT thing an ECF social group so that we can better weather these types of changes. We can have the main thread still point to that social group. It's not a sticky anymore (bummer) so who knows.
Whiskey and I discussed this before. She was concerned that it would be "lost" in the quagmire of social groups and it was a sticky in the general section. She may also have said that it seemed more exclusive, rather that just a thread that anyone can post in. I'm kinda paraphrasing here.
It is no longer a sticky, however it floats near the top on page one almost 100% of the time. I see her points too. Would making it a social group help or hurt? It really seems like a group thing, but I don't want it to get lost either. Anyone know much about these groups and how they are organized and administered? Advantages and disadvantages?
And P.S. I don't intend for us to decide on this now. We have a lot more to talk about... where does this workshop thread go? Who maintains the list? Monitoring of stuff? The 1st post in the thread...change or no? Ect. So whiskey will be back here in time to at least post an opinion (which probably hasn't changed). I think that if we're going to go through a bunch of changes, I could at least (openly and politely) bring it up again. I'd still want to hear from whiskey tho, not bypass her.
