Hi again David, I would love to hear back from you on how to get these. One in satin and one in polished.

They are all the same, shouldn't matter if the mod is in satin or polished as they are hidden behind the locking ring, as far as when, if I'm understanding Davids post, accessories will be back up on the site after all of the ELA's are sold so that way accessories orders don't bog down the mod orders.....Hope that helps.

No not really. The new compression bands don't fit a v1 locking ring , the knurled threaded ring, thus I need a v2 polished and satin locking ring to be able to use v2 compression bands.

Ahh, thought you were talking about the compression band itself.

I don't know if David will make anymore V2 compression bands.....? That is why Riverboat has 6 of them stockpiled...

We are inventorying and will get up all the remaining ELA V1 and V2 accessories we have. Don't miss out on getting some spare parts and accessories you need, as no more will be made! I have caps, compression bands, contacts, flat buttons etc. I may not get them all up tomorrow, but hope to by weeks end.

I am about to order my very first AUTHENTIC mod from you guys. I can't really afford my vape habit sometimes, lol, but with the sale you have going on and what I read, I think that v2 look amazing. (I do have a couple of authentic attys and box mods though...I'm not THAT cheap.)

So wow me, even though you aren't going to be making vape gear anymore. I'm really excited.

a BIG HIGH FIVE for you!!!!! Is a good and bad feeling when I spend a lot, its exhilarating and sickening at the same time. But the sick feeling goes away when you get the package and hold it in your hands.......
I can't effing wait! This is my 11th mod I think, not counting my god box (another one of those gulp purchases but I saved up for that one and this one was more of an impulse buy) and its gonna look sweet with my collection. Now to figure out what rda to top it with.

Sent from a cool but overpriced phone on TapaCrack at yo mama's house.

Hey folks! Just received my smooth SS lock ring to replace my knurled one on. My ELA V2. I know this isn't rocket science but I am baffled. I put the smooth one on the same way that the knurled one was. Unfortunately it does not lock down. Inside it looks exactly like the knurled one except the smooth one has no brass thingy inside. Am I supposed to remove the brass from the knurled one and place it in the smooth one? If so, how might I go about that?

Thanks much! Feeling a little silly here....

I know you do need to remove the compression ring as that is one locks the telescoping section; however having never done it myself I'm not sure what the best way of going about it is.

Thanks Officer for responding. Now I have the name for the "brass thingy." Yes, the compression band. Hoping someone will come along on this thread or perhaps I'll post it in a separate thread....

Lol, no problem. I actually have the same problem. I ordered a smooth locking ring as well but I have decided to wait and hopefully get a new compression band when they are listed. I figure it's probably easier to install one than it is to remove one.

Removing the compression band is easy peasy. I compress it a little at the cut with my fingernail then just tilt it out. Kind of the same action as picking up a quarter with one hand that is laying flat on a table.

You're not kidding vdefazzio. Easy peezy! I used a teensy tiny screw driver (short nails) and 10 seconds later I have the smooth one locked on my VD. Thanks bumches

Thanks for the advice. I'm also curious is anyone knows, but the compression bands look very familiar to copper plumbing compression rings with a small bit cut out. Anyone ever tried using a plumbing band? If so, has it worked? What size?

Omg. I think that's it. I have been in need of a replacement compression band for my v1 ela and I think you are on to something. After you said that I did a quick search and think by the attached pic it can be done. Take off some material from the top and bottom and give it a gap. Imagine a copper compression band. There goes some voltage drop.
