Ok, one more question and this one is from a friend of mine. He likes running 18650 how would he cover the full gap from the body. Can he use two accent rings?

I believe you can use two accent rings, but it won't fully cover the gap, I think there is still a little bit of space.

Personally, I feel it is futile to try. I think all should tell their OCD where to go, and embrace the tube!

Unless you stick with one particular battery type, with no fluke variations, you will always have some sort of gap. One of us, bought a wedding band that fit the bill.

Unless I am now, totally wrong....

I say embrace!

Precise ELA II notable changes:

-Redesigned extension tube locking mechanism, provides an even more secure hold on extension tube
-Button now flush with cap and the cap flats pushed out and widened. Stands up securely with no wobble, even with a tank on it.
-Larger diameter button for more proportioned look and easier activation
-Larger button locking slide for easier button locking activation
-Wider "U" shaped button guard, making it easier to activate button
-Slanted knurl look on lock ring
-Solid Top Cap

Hello Super T Peeps.

Long time lurker, finally was able to purchase a Ela yesterday, my first from Super T.

The new changes look great.

So i ordered a few spare pieces with my ELA yesterday and was wondering if these new spare pieces would fit the new ELA. Specifically the brass non locking button, the brass button slide, and the brass accent bands.

Another question, on the order im pretty sure i saw somewhere where it stated that the order would be shipped in something like 15 days. Is that a good estimate as to when the item will ship?

From what's stated here looks like the only thing you bought that's compatible are the. Accent rings. Unless he sends you ones that are already updated. Which I hope they are.

AS far as compatibility of ELA vs ELA II.

The body, locking ring, compression band, button, button slide, button shield are all different and not compatible or swappable between the two.

Accent rings(both top and bottom), top caps, slant caps, adjustable draw caps, extension tubes (both regular and XL), adjustable hybrid post, springs, locking spring plunger and bottom button contact are all interchangeable.

Could be a bit misleading if the spares sold for the ELA were sold on the same page as the new ELA and they didn't even fit. Not sure if there was verbage stating that the spares were for the old or new. Hoping for the best I guess.

I truly believe the ELA is the perfect mod. The design is very unique. Arguably the best 18000 series mod on the market. I will have to get another one in the near future. I use the ELA and the strata everywhere I go. The ELA is in a league of its own.

David said a few pages back that they will be releasing a small batch every week. He didn't mention any specific days or times. Just keep checking back here every week.

Also, don't panic if you miss out. We'll be putting up smaller batches every week. We don't want to get more then 1-2 weeks behind at any one time, so we aren't putting them all up at once.

Also, we will have spare bottom posts and top post screw in assembly.
