Guys,questions & suggestions..

1. Serialized ELA would be nice
2. How can add more resistance to my firing switch..imo its a little light.
3. Anyone can post a pic of the flat bottom cap? Again, cant really visualize that

Thanks guys

There's a heavy duty spring you can (sometimes) get to add a little more resistance. Myself, I've gone back and forth switching between them and always like the lighter spring better.
The two styles of flat bottom are these:

On the left is the non-locking switch replacement, the one on the right uses the locking button that comes with the ELA. Pictured is the V1 version, the V2 would be larger and perhaps easier to use. I don't have an example of it.

Didn't the Ver #2 come with the HD? I thought I had read that. I may be wrong.....

Also, didn't David mention before you could use two springs?

Yes, on Super-T. They go in and out of stock, a little hard to come by sometimes. Out of stock right now!
If we can figure out a way to get it there cheap I could send you one.

Thanks for that..but i need to check if there is a HD spring in my spares bag..not really sure..the brass P on the switch looks nice too

I have the regular spring on my new ELA, and really like the soft touch needed to fire. On mods with larger buttons, like my Simplicities I prefer the heavier springs, so I can set it down without firing, even unlocked. (A non issue with the ELA)

I've been switching between the 26650, and the ELA. I can't say which I prefer more, they are both great devices. I do like the ability to use whatever battery I have available in the ELA, and the form factor/fit and finish is amazing. But on the 26650, I really don't need to worry about changing batteries, as they seemingly last forever...even with 24g duals, I'm getting a solid day+ out of a charge.

I'm sure this has already been requested in the past but I will ask anyway. David can we get 18650 accent rings please? Pretty please with sugar on top.

I keep hoping there is some way to make a telescopic beauty ring for 18650 mode. Probably difficult to do and make it look pretty but it would be really cool.

Just make the 18500 one longer and use a sony vct as reference since it is most likely the most used.

That's my point, 3 posts and 3 different people with 3 different battery preferences. I'm sure there's at least 6 more, and then you have variances in size within the same brand and model. All of the sudden 18650 accent rings becomes a lot less simple. You'd have to make them to the smallest spec, which means a lot of people would still have a gap when using the 18650 accent ring.

Good point Vap, I was thinking of posting regarding the battery size differences. I myself would love to see an accent piece for the larger battery. I love telescopic but my OCD has a hard time with that much tube showing, so I never used ELA in 18650 mode. I myself dont mind small gaps, 2mm to 5 at them most.

If David made them, most like me , would not mind , but there would be many voicing their dislike. Its hard to make everyone happy. I still think it would be great to have some made up.

I still think that all the accessories are a great way to customize to individual needs to be able to get different "looks" with one amazing device. But there are so many in need of the basics which should be kept in stock all the time.
