Hey there folks! Well made Shiny objects plus a sale?? Wowser!

Need a bit of advice for my Santa list. I really, really love the size of my 18350 Workhorse. Plus it looks like it is made for my kayfun. Every so often I get a short in the KFL and it looks like the V2 top takes care of that. Am, in the spirit of the season, am thinking of up-grading. Looks like I missed the titanium but see that the ELA V2 will work with the 18490 bats. Also, looks like it is similar size to the WH18350. (Couldn't find specs). Thanks Snork for the pic.

For those that have experienced the WH and the ELA V2, what are your experiences (size, rapid hits, etc.)? Don't know if I should wait for the 18350 Ti since I doubt I would ever use the larger reconfiguration? Thank you. Great day to all.

Im sorry, the TI's aren't on sale, but, the TI's at 499.99 are being sold for less then it cost us to manufacture them, so its a steal. We had over 80 hours just in machine time (not including materials and labor to polish/assemble them) to make 20 of them. We needed to run at least a batch of 50 to make anything, but the demand wasn't there. Oh well, consider it an promotional/advertising item. It happens...anyone remember the Shockwave? We lost about 10,000.00 dollars on that one as those were sold below cost too for lack of demand.

Makes sense David. Beauty and quality isn't cheap to make. Sorry, you are having to sell the Ti's at a loss and thank you for your honesty and transparency. Also, yahoo, for the great sale!!

Might you have the specs handy on the ELA v2? I'm most interested in the length when in the 18350 mode. Am comparing it to my nifty 18350 WH.

Hi Robinowitz

Ti version of ELA is 73/74 mm long in 18350 setup.

Not the shortest, but very hand friendly ;-) and kind of ... telescopic !

With the standard bottom cap of course, don't know if flat bottom cap saves some mm,

but anyway flat bottom isn't available made of titanium.

Maybe one day, David ? ;-p i should love to get it !

Not really ...

It's 24 mm at the largest parts ( bottom and top ), the slim body part is 22, so 22 mm attys feel kind of right on it,
but each day i ask myself what to find to get an even better look.

Can't find any 24 mm ti dripper :-(

If you're on the stainless steel, there are slanted top caps doing the smooth transition between 24 mm top of the mod
and your 22 mm atty. Or the 24 mm dedicated Strata atty by Super-t !!

well, finally got my ELA Ti in my hands, i have to say that i really didn't want to spend the $ on it but now that i have it in my hands, it is/was totally worth it! the wieght alone (or lack there of) is worth it by itself. so here i sit with an ELA v1 (matte version) v2 SS and now the Ti, I think my collection is now done!

Thanks Dave! money well spent!

The smooth ring works on the ELA, I use it all the time!

So the smooth lock ring for the workhorse also works on the ELA? Hmmm. Thanks for the info.

This was not an option a while back when I originally planned to get an ELA. Glad to see David has added more parts/options for order.
