To make sense for rest of the world I translated the numbers into grams ;)

4.8 ounces=136g
5.2=147.4g
5.4=153g
5.6=158,75g

Hey I'm in the US and ounces still baffle me sometimes. I prefer everything in pounds haha...

4.8 ounces = 0.3000 pounds
5.2 ounces = 0.3250 pounds
5.4 ounces = 0.3375 pounds
5.6 ounces = 0.3500 pounds

"Stone" is what helps me paint an accurate mental picture.

4.8 oz = 0.0214286 stone
5.2 oz = 0.0232143 stone
5.4 oz = 0.0241071 stone
5.6 oz = 0.025 stone.

There. If that's not clearer, then there's something wrong with you. :?:

Yaaayyy, first polished ss with brass accents! That looks very nice with your z-atty. Hey az, can you put a higher res pic up on imgur.com and paste the bbcode link?

It's a shame about your F3 button on your keyboard. :x If that happened to me, I'd just be glad it wasn't F5, as often as I've been reloading this thread.

Hey David, based on the pictures and comments so far...thought I’d say "congratulations." The ELA seems to everything that people have wanted and to be very well received with almost zero “first production issues”. Great job sir.

The first impressions appear to comparable to Mike Trout bringing an aluminum bat to a little league park for batting practice lol.

To the rest of you….MOAR PICS. :D

No disrespect intended...Has it? Not sure, but I think possibly you don't even possess it yet. Are you basing your statement on one vid and a couple of pics? looks alone or because you can change your battery in eta 2 seconds? Bottom line it is a telescopic mod that looks nice. I have other high end telescopic mods in my collection that I am willing to bet vapes just as good, and I am assuming the ELA will.

You bring up some good points and i definitely get your overall point, but i'd have to strongly disagree that the "bottom line is its just a telescopic mod that looks nice."

For us here at Super-T, the "bottom line" is the Precise ELA truly differentiates itself from all other telescoping mods with its game changing engineering, features and class leading quality.

For example, you mention that the batteries can be changed in a couple of seconds, but that would be missing some of the other awesome benefits of our unique telescoping design. Consider these other benefits:

1. Traditional Threaded telescoping tubes designs have a fair amount of play/wobble and require you to crank two tubes down and literally use the battery as a "dead" stop inside to get the tubes to tighten up to some degree and can slowly crush your battery tops, can back off , are not as tight, add two more electrical junctions to the connections (on three piece designs) and make poorer electrical connection due not be able to properly tighten down the sections.

The ELA's design elimates all of those pitfalls. Our unique telescoping design makes for a Rock Solid, no wobble connection between the telecoping sections. This allows for the best possible electrical connection and also eliminates the need to put any excessive pressure on the batteries as you are not using the batteires inside to litterally support the two or three sections by screwing them down onto the battery. We've also eliminated an extra section (less electrical junctions means less resistance as everytime electricity has to pass from one piece to the next, there is resistance formed). Also the ELA sections will not back off when tightented, they are rock solid. Oh, and yes, you can also perform a couple of second battery changes or battery reconfiguration:)

2. Consider also the Precious Metal Rhodium over Gold plating on our brass electrical contacts of the Precise ELA. They will never corrode, tarnish or oxidize. Sure some mods with brass or silver plated brass contacts may hit as hard right after cleaning, but give it a day and they won't. They begin to oxidize the moment after cleaning and your electrical connection begins to degrade. Check out post 2854 for a comparison of Rhodium vs Silver plating and check out this thread for more benefits of Rhodium plating: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/super-t-manufacturing/231517-why-rhodium-facts.html

3. Hybrid Center post. • Our Hybrid design is unique in that, unlike full-floating/self-adjusting designs, no matter how tight you compress down the sections and center post onto the battery, none of that force will transfer up through the center post to your atomizer which can cause atomizer shorts.
• Atomizer positively seats on the top cap with no play or wobble and the user can adjust the post height and force applied to the atomizer center pin. No more shorting atomizers!

4. Class leading machining. We are one of the rare companies now that do all machining in house on our state of the art machining center. This allows us absolute control over the quality of machining. Check out the picture below for a comparison of an extension tube from an extremely popular Greek made telescoping device vs the ELA's extension tube:

IMAG0673.jpg

5. Theres also a host of little details such as

-A stepped top cap to allow many tanks to sit flush and tighten down rock solid without supporting the tank by just its 510 connector.

-Machined in flats on the top cap and hybrid center post to aid in removal should a cap get stuck on

-Hidden Vent design

-durable ribbed texture on the extension tube

-milled in slots for air flow on the top cap

-Unique "click to lock" mechanical locking mechanism that clicks into place rather then a simple threaded collar.

-Unique adjustable draw that actually works

For those of you w/ELA's can we get a picture of the Ela w/no battery on a scale? Just wanna know how heavy this beutiful piece is. Thanks in advance!

The weights are as follows:

As delivered and setup for tanks/rbas with no accent ring on: 4.8 ounces

With top accent ring: 5.2 ounces

With Adjustable draw cap, no top accent ring: 5.4 ounces

With Adjustable draw cap and top accent ring: 5.6 ounces.

For a common comparison a GGTS is 5.2 ounces and a Brass GGTS is 5.4 ounces. I belive a Provari 18650 is around 5 ounces.

Most will be running it in the 5.2 ounce configuration.

... or crush battery bottoms, as it were.

OK well I'm excited for my ELA in the first batch so it shouldn't be long. But I was talking to a friend of mine. He was checking out my P+ and we were talking about superT. Pretty much just how awesome you are. And he mentioned that Dave is a gunsmith. Is this true or did he mix you up with another supplier.

Though i do tinker with firearms, i'm not a gunsmith. Some of that comes from my early pics i think with the ammunition reloading equipment in the shot :)

Ah I see ha you must have confused them. But yeah can't wait to get my hands on my ELA. My P+ has been my daily device since I got it in February and hits just as hard since the day i got it.

Just a wipe of toilet paper on the connections and its good to go. It rocks with the igo on top. 4 fold of silica and 3 wraps of 28 gauge and its kickin all day.

Speaking of the matte satin... It's been copied by atimizoo with the roller called matte ice because it has a metallic grain to it. It's really durable too. My p10 had it and I ended up brushing it (took 400 grit and elbow grease) because brushed with polish accents are my favorite. That's why I ordered polished with brass and extra stainless caps, but I do wish David will offer brushed one day. It's sexy :).

I might get the bug to do the ELA or order extra set of body pieces.
