Thought I would post a pic of my setup this evening while I patiently wait on my ELA. 1.0 ohm on 1/16 Nextel..

Been busy for a while and just now saw your question. I'm running with 8 wraps of 28 gauge nichrome on a double strand of xc-132. I have this set up as a micro coil where all the wraps are touching each other. I had to pinch the coil with needle nose pliers and torch it so the wraps would stay touching. I'm on my second build with this current one being my first attempt at a micro coil in any atomizer.

This is the only method I've used to build it and I'm totally happy with the performance; it wicks 100% VG like a champ and been completely trouble free with the exception of having to dry burn to clean the coils between tanks.

I totally agree . I put away all my gennys, the kayfun, oddy etc and set this up. Vaping great although I could probably use another wrap or two on the coil. I usually like about a 1.3 to 1.7 ohm coil and this is a 1.0 ohm. Nice warm vape tho and lots of flavor..

Just recieved another update,ELA is at local post and now i can't sleep knowing i will have the game changer of mod's in my hands in a few short hours.

Have you checked out the Nextel yet? I changed ALL of my mesh and silica to Nextel. Great stuff and very easy to work with..
I've been using Nextel for a while. The MSDS indicates it's safe (go read it for yourself and make your own determination here, I am not a doctor/lawyer/etc), but I'm one of the unlucky ones who gets throat irritation/coughing from it. It seems like the vast majority of people don't have this issue, just a few do. It's very unfortunate, as I love XC-116's flavor and durability. I have one wick that's well over a month old, and I just dry burn it every tank or so; it wicks like new, and flavor is as good as ever. It's like using 635 SS mesh, without any of the headaches. I'm only switching to ekowool because the throat irritation has gotten the best of me.

Good morning Super T fans. This morning is beautiful in Phoenix as it is 80 degrees and clear skies. I suppose it will get to be a little hot before midday tho. I'm hoping that David will update this thread with good news on his progress for the week as I know many of us are anxiously waiting for the new ELA. However, patience really is a virtue and since most, if not all of us can vape on something else in the meantime, I prefer his attention to detail over speed..
