Yeah, and if I'm in the car and need to refill, it's handy having the fill valve. On the Lite you'd either have to remove the screw and risk dropping it between your seat and center console; or remove the top cap, fill, screw the top back on 1 twist, flip upside down, and continue closing, which might get messy. Fill valve is more fun. Sometimes I add sound effects as I'm injecting juice into the tank.

wow, im so glad i bought my Kayfun in that exact finish, cool a glimpse in the future

What finish is that, it looks beautiful. You guys with these beauties are starting to make me twitch with the thought of trying something new. I am very fond of my Odysseus's and even that weighs about 13 oz, so with the Kayfun, it think is even heavier.

But you are tempting me. Im going to try and resist, but I am sending one of my Odys to be refinished to match ELA. Then when my Satin gets here Im sending one of the others to get "satinized". Cant wait.

I'll rally for your atty under these conditions: That it's easy to set up without requiring any special tools, doesn't ever leak, is easy to clean and maintain, doesn't contain 100 parts to lose, break or have to purchase backups for, performs great without having to invest hours of time experimenting and futzing, uses a minimal amount of readily available material for atomization, and rarely will anybody post a question about it, just to say how great it is.

I think it should have a thermostat to monitor coil temperature and fans to shove the vapor into your head. And be the size of a Diver but hold 5ml juice and be no problem for me with my sausage fingers to coil and wick. Without having to use a single screwdriver.

Seriously though, there are some interesting innovations coming out all the time in RBAs. For example, the Rose looks like it'll be the love child between an Ithaka and Kayfun. China is cloning the Kayfun 3.1, and SvoeMesto now has a shorter, less expensive, less "over-engineered" version of the Kayfun going on sale tomorrow.

I remember David mentioning ideas for features such as cyclonic air flow and wick material as hardy as steel mesh with the saturated flavor of silica. I also suspect he has other ideas and is playing his cards close to his chest.

You know, I wouldn't have thought there could be much room for improvement in mech mods. Then came the ELA. I don't have David's imagination or talent, so all I can do is marvel as wonders I never imagined appear before my very eyes. He's got his work cut out for him designing an RBA to rule them all, though. But I'm betting that he's going to blow my mind yet again.

Damm I just emailed Cloud9 vaping looking for second Satin ELA....

Nope we never had the Satin version of the ELA, and the batch of semi polished ELA has sold out. Boo hoo I guess if I want a 2nd ELA I will have to settle for polished....

Unless David gets fed up and starts making cutlery instead of mods, you might have the opportunity to buy a satin eventually. If I recall correctly, the ELA was intended to be a regular stock item, not intentionally limited production like the Shockwave. You just might have to wait a while is all, and it might not come with all the same options as the pre-order. For instance, I expect that the adjustable draw cap, and maybe the 18490-mode bling ring, will be optional add-ons after the pre-orders are completed.

You could also get yourself another polished and find someone to refinish it for you.

You never know, maybe someone will change their mind and not want a Satin and one will become available. Or buy another and see if anyone ends up wishing they got a polished instead and trade you for a satin.

The rose looks like the Ody and the kayfun had offspring. I'd jump on that but I have my name on 3-4 other lists at the moment and I saw the cobras are back in stock... I need more mods.

Ok so I ask some questions the other day and decided to break down and wait for one more dam piece of vaping equipment. I ordered my ELA about 30 mins ago Yahhhhhhhhh! Im not excited that there was no brushed and brass options left but Polished and brass will do just fine. So I cant wait till the mailman kn ocks with my Ela!!
