So I fell down the rabbit hole. I've been vaping for 10 months now and I decided it was time to purchase a high-end mod. After joining this forum and reading a few posts, I decided to get the ELA. Currently I'm using the Kick on a Silver Bullet so I'm excited to try it on the ELA. Can't wait to get it, but what atty should I buy in the meantime? Something that will look great on the ELA and preferably be easy to get?

Also, what are good drip tips to match and where to get them? I got the brass accents.

I've been doing a lot of research into this over the past few days..

RBA with a tank the Kayfun would be pretty awesome on the ELA and it looks like it was made for it!
RDA wise I settled on the Immortalizer for mine and got one today.

The Immo does have a smaller diameter than the ELA so you may not prefer that look. I do so it was an easy choice for me.

Easy to get is the hard part. Most of the better RBA and RDA are in short supply. But you have a few months before the ELA arrives so that gives you time to choose and then seek out the one you want.

I found a shop called 'Local Vapor' in LA has a lot of the Philippino made mods in stock.. That's where I got my Immo,, The Kayfun's are hard to come by as well.

This place has a lot of brass drip tips..

If you have experience or want to learn rebuildables, I'd go with a Kayfun 3 or lite, maybe a terminator C, but they're more complicated. The list for the stratus 22 is still open, I haven't got mine yet, but I hear awesome things and it looks great on an ELA.

Alba-vapors has cobras in stock. Those look sick on the ELA!

Really, if you prefer pre-fab over rebuilding, the ELA looks sharp with just an atomizer on top. And the adjustable air draw cap doesn't work with tanks, anyway.

I looked for pics of ELA + VapeMate but couldn't find any. It looks pretty sharp on the Shockwave though.

If you want a feeder tank for pre-fab atomizers, the AMP Tank might be worth checking out. It's pretty decent on the ELA as demonstrated by kscoggins.

If I were you, I would concentrate more on function than appearances. Here's my recommendation for you: Get yourself an Evod, a Protank, a Vivi Nova, or some sort of similar clearo tank with replaceable atomizer heads. The replacement heads are generally cheaper than new 510 tube atomizers anyway, so you can replace them more often and not have to resort to hacks like PGA soaks and dry burns. Then, when you're feeling more adventurous, instead of throwing a spent head away, try rebuilding it with some silica and kanthal. You'll quickly discover that your apprehension with rebuilding was a tempest in a teacup.

You might also discover that there's really no need to spend $180 on an Ithaka or Kayfun when you're perfectly happy with your $15 Vivi Nova. Or not. And perhaps by that time David will have announced his contribution to the RBA world.

Frankly I prefer drip atomizers and not having to deal with coils and wicks, but I know I'm going to have to learn in order to get that clean, sleek look that I covet from all the high end set-ups.

Riverboat turned me onto to HH357's. They are regular looking atomizers on steroids! They are however $20-$25 each but he has said they last him 4-6 weeks. I have 2 on order that have not shipped yet but maybe a PM to him if you have questions.

Rebuildable dripping atomizers are for the most part very easy to do and there are plenty of youtube videos that show how easy it is.

I looked at every RDA out there trying to decide which to get for my ELA and as I stated earlier I went with the Immortalizer as I think it looks super sexy on the ELA and the performance appears to be top notch. It's 20mm I believe so just a little smaller diameter than the ELA.

I also have a Cyclone for my Simplicity but since it's a smaller diameter (16mm) It would probably look a little silly on the ELA.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks. I wasn't officially counting myself in until I got my order through. Success! Order 16459. Went with all the brass accents. And now the wait begins. Will be my first super t mod. Super excited. Probably even more excited than I was waiting on my first provari.

Have you looked at the DCA? I have one. Don't use it anymore since I went to rebuildables but was great when I did use it. Used cisco 306's in it.

Also, if you are worried about the slight learning curve with an RDA you can buy already made and ready to rock coils and wicks.

Rebuildable Atomizer Coils - Avid Vaper

$5 for 5 of them..

This can hold you over wile you learn how to do them yourself. :)

Im a Proavri fan myself because they always deliver a great VV vape...
But a SuperT mod is something special...you will see the difference in the fit and finish....

Update: As of this morning there were 8 ELA's left for sale on the second batch and then we are closing it down. There will me no more ELA's made for quite some time and not at this introductory price nor with its full boat of features. Thanks everyone for your patience, we are doing our best to get these all out, but at least have peace of mind that we will deliver.

I have an hh 357 long barrel that I have been vaping with for 5 months now. Proper care an cleanin will make them last a very long time. Grimmgreen claims to have used one for a year but met its end to a toilet bowl.

I saw that video... I take Grimm Greens advice with a grain of salt, you ever see the BS he reveiws and claims how good it is?...I still love him though as Grimm was the first reveiwer I watched when I started vaping in Oct 2009?...
I've been using HH's for 17 months and consider myself an expert in their operation and maintenance, I have had numerous correspondences with Hanna about the HH357 atty...Blow them clear from the threaded end only 1-2 times a day and if you do a wet/dry burn If the coil glows orange, STOP do not do long dry burns with an HH as it ruins the coil... Yes they can last for months on end, but after 6 weeks or so the flavor is lost and vapor production suffers... Its a coil and does not last forever... Come on they only cost $22-$25... Im not milking one along to save a few pennies, dont cheat your vape experiance... Replace it as there is nothing like a fresh coil...

Not to get to far off topic here but I never trust a review done by someone who got the product for free.. They can put their little disclaimer at the front all they want but the bottom line is that if they slam the product you better believe that company won't be sending them future products..

Actual users who paid their own hard earned money for devices / products is who I listen to..

Don't get "Shockwaved"! I'm so glad I got on board when I did, It was definitely worth every penny and every day of waiting.

Get a protank with a tatroe tank. Easy to maintain, good vape, and with the tatroe it looks good on an ELA and you can use whatever drip tip you like.
