You won't be disappointed....all my other atties are collecting dust since getting my Kayfuns. Both my wife and I are using them now.
Check out micro coils and cotton as potential solutions for it as well, in my opinion they've taken an already great atomizer to a new level in terms of flavour and vapour. Enjoy...

+1.

I'm running a micro+cotton in my KFL as well and it's beastin! 30g kanthal micro at 1.5 ohm and some sterile 100% cotton from CVS - been rockin this coil for a week now and the performance is still great. I'll probably switch out the cotton tomorrow before I refill the tank but the coil is still good to go.

I had to edit my post.
After further research, the stratus is not a genesis atty. it's actually a one of a kind. Made me quite excited and I'm starting to look forward for this. Good thing I read that thread. I almost posted up mine of my ela's in the classies. My bad for jumping the gun.

I hope Australia's customs office processes mail quicker than the U.S. We usually have to endure at least 3 or 4 days, and more often over a week, of packages stuck in New York with no movement. But when your ELA finally arrives, you'll be happy as a pig in poop.

On an unrelated note, I'd like to chime in on the figure 8 wick / use a pin / don't use a pin RBA discussion. If you use 34 gauge Kanthal you can get away with fewer wraps; and 34 gauge is so much more pliable than thicker gauges that it's an absolute breeze to wrap around your wick with no tools.

This 2-over-3 coil is about 1.8 ohms.

It heats up instantly.

The single wick wicks quickly enough for me. Occasionally when I chain vape or when I'm on a 4.2v full charge I'll have to do a sharp unpowered draw to flood it a little more. But the taste is consistently rich. Higher resistance = lower amperage and longer battery life. Conserving wick and wire means having to re-order less frequently. And most importantly, the coil / wick seems to last longer without needing cleaned or replaced than when I double up the wick or use 32 or 30 gauge Kanthal.

Phiniac sells the replacement cups and the flange doesn't bother me at all...

I *think* Smok Tech sells a 1.5ohm dual coil cartomizer..

I tried them once and didn't really like them..

They do, but on an unregulated 3.7v mod I'd recommend the dual coil 1.25ohm.

Although I personally can't stand cartos :(

I run the Boge 2ohm carto's and they are fine with my 3.7v PV but when I build the Diver I set it up around 1.4-1.7'ish.. I tried lower ohm builds but it really was not my cup of tea..
