Precise ELA Telescoping Mod by Super-T!

Just checked Super T...looks like there back in stock..meaning some people dropped out...

Canceling ones order is understandable... considering the major delays and the lack of recent updates, ELA ordering isn't for everyone!

Stating a delivery time of 6-8 weeks and then taking 20+ weeks (and counting) to deliver, rubs some people the wrong way. Especially when one considers that super t has released 4 new products since, and delivered them before the pre-paid ELA orders.

I will offer an update in his stead; order 1545X: no shipping notice. We know that shipping notices don't go out until the device enters assembly and it can take 11 days + from that point to delivery. I'm guessing total wait time in this case to be 23 weeks plus? Who knows w/out official updates.

Meanwhile there are a lot of great devices coming out, meaning there are more options available than there were 8-9 months ago when the ELA was announced.

20+ weeks yikes...i thought 2nd batch of elas were going to go out faster?...yea a bit diconcerning that new products have been released and shipped since preorders...but im only on week 2 so hopefully its still 6-8 weeks x my fingers

I think you can (and should) throw the 6-8 weeks out the window!

If you don't you are only setting yourself up for disappointment and a 'rant' post later on..

If you ordered 2 weeks ago my guess will be you should get that ELA at the very end of November (if you are lucky) or sometime in December (more realistic)

I think that the wait time from order to delivery is down to about 12 weeks , give or take. I ordered mine in Decemeber and got it in June, but that was because they went thru a few weeks of down time due to getting the new CNC machine, working out the bugs and new program etc. I knew what I was getting myself into when I took the dive and pre-ordered.

There are many posts way back about the production routine and assembly etc. This is not a huge manufacturing set up etc. Each ELA takes at least one hour of assembly and testing before it goes out by one person.

I could go on and on, but all I can say to those waiting is you wont be disappointed.

I think nothing that has come out since the ELA's first day of preorder even comes close to the uniqueness and innovation this one possesses. Yes, many new serialized shiny trinkets come out daily but until you actually hold the ELA in your hands can you see it. Just the adjustable center post is worth a six month wait to look at, let alone use.
The ELA is a statement.

I agree, I wasn't going to order two, and I had plenty of opportunity to. But now having received my first one, I jumped at the opportunity to pick up a second. I love the adjustable draw cap, so my plan is to get one and keep it as a 510 dripper, and then use the normal cap on the other for tank/rba usage.

Also - about the 6-8 week time. The website has been updated with 10-12 weeks for months now. However, I still think that's not quite accurate either unless assembly and shipping speed up. I can see why it hasn't been updated though, since they aren't exactly still up for pre-order aside from the occasional cancelled order.

That's my plan too! Switching back and forth from the adjustable draw cap isn't the ELA's strong point as far as convenience, so it only makes sense (ha!) to have two dedicated ELAs. My satin will be for atties, my polished will be for rebuildables. Unless David's plan requires me to get a third for some unknown reason.

Same thinking went on when I decided to get the second. I like to have 2 vaporizers going with a tank full of one flavour one each. Now that I fell in love with the fatty atty, I can have the satin one going with the fatty to drip my favorite tobacco and the other with my Ody filled with my usual lite DIY going.

After I got to hold and take a vape off an ELA I knew I had made the right decision to wait as long as I have. Unless I screw up big time and lose the two I ordered I will not have to buy another mod for a loooong time. I also ordered an engraved drip tip and must say it is the best drip tip I have ever owned. Like all other Super T products they just do what they are supposed to do without any hassles unlike most of my other tips.

I'm cool with waiting for my ELA even though I expect it will arrive sometime around Turkey Day.
I must say that since getting on the Rose atty list and seeing JustPoo's video with it attached to his ELA my GET HERE NOW!! meter did jump to 11 for a wee moment but the blood pressure is <vape> <vape> back to normal :)

David's plan will require you to get a 3rd ...
Your satin will be for atties, 1st polished will be for rebuildables, 2nd polished will be for David's RBA, the Rolls-Royce of your collection.
