Yep, Polished SS locking ring or Brass. It'll be scarce. Only 30 of those bad boys with Titanium integrated Kiklet too...

Just curious. What is the interest in the titanium? Is it only the fact it weighs less?

I bought a titanium pistol once. I hate it. Titanium doesn't give me the same 'warm and fuzzies' that SS does.

From what I know its basically the weight, for those that like light. As far as it being better, or stronger, not sure. I know that the reason titanium is used medically for implants is that it is lighter and just as strong as stainless steel. I know that there are different quality/grades of titanium just as there is for stainless steel. Medical grade titanium is the best and doesn't tarnish or discolour as much or at all.

What i do know it that I like the colour of titanium, its usually a tad grey and it is more expensive material.

As a cyclist, I get the titanium lust. It's just a great metal. If David would only make a high modulus carbon fiber ELA or simplicity...
Hey hey.. I peddle 30-40 miles a day about 5 days a week. On the 22nd of this month I am doing a 100 mile ride to raise mooola for Make A Wish :)

It feels like a "drier" metal, if that makes any sense. They also, at least to me, feel "harder". It's definitely a different tactile feel than SS, not even taking the weight and heft into consideration. I will say the Titanium PV's I've owned always surprised when I picked them up. It can be a little disconcerting sometimes. I'm curious to see David working with these and he's all about machining excess metal out, so I think they would be ridiculously light.
