Dropped my ELA today. Had too much going on, and too many items on my lap while driving; opened the door and "tink" is all I heard. It contacted the asphalt from 3' up, and barely left a pin mark on the corner of the switch. Needless to say, I am impressed. The scuff from the asphalt rubbed right off. Had to make a slight adjustment to the KF mounted on top, but pulled a vape immediately with no problems. ;)

Anyone confirm this is done? I'm in the next batch:

and wanted to see if he meant the shipping notices for this batch will go out or if he was still referring to the last batch:

Any ideas?

I've had a shipping notice since Oct 2nd for order 1552* and it does not show that it has moved yet.

Geez :(

On a different note:

I remember reading on some page forever ago in this thread about the best variant for the ELA - should I be buying noalax or is there something better I can obtain?

I vote no grease. I've not used any noalox or any other coating, and my ELA is still performing like new. I've had my ELA since late July. Noalox tends to attract dirt and it gets grimy.

would any of you ela veterans recommend a good matte finish atty for my ela? preferably an rda but others are fine

Check out the Immortalizer. Do a YouTube search and check out Todd's review.

+1 to both :) I haven't used any noalox or any other grease on my ELA and it's been an every day use mod since it arrived with no issues. An the Immo is a great dripper that looks good on there, too

Immo clone with stock finish:

And if you have the patience it looks awfully sharp polished:

The clone is pretty close to the original in appearance and function. But I think I would still recommend getting the original, even at 5x the price. My clone is trying to strip out the threads where a screw attaches the ceramic to the base. I'm sure the original doesn't do that.

If you're limiting yourself to dripper, I would recommend the Origen dripper...if you can get your paws on one. It is hands-down the best RDA I have used to date. Another that would look great is a Nimbus with one of the aftermarket 23mm replacement caps. I have a 22mm cap from Cap It All Vapes (FB page), but they also make them in 23mm OD. I asked them to make me a 24mm cap to match the ELA perfectly, but they said no.

I had been just sitting and waiting patiently but I suppose I'll send the e-mail to check in.
